The sp has done well this last week..could be sentiment in aim returning..a lot of my shares have also significantly risen this week.

Just natural market cycle .

I am sure anyone who bought in at lowest for a quick trade will do well (*wink*)

However this company is still a basket case

I don't see it as a pump and dump - havent seen evidence of any pumping.

just market cycles - SP got hit with people getting out in case of a bad presentation..the presentation was bad which further hit SP.

All time low and people figure it is safe to get back in.

liquidity being low helps dramatic swings

That is a very old broker note..they no longer include that in their forecast. Although they do confirm it will be another loss making year and a lot less cash in the bank at year end.

that is even before any possible pay back of up to £2.5m to the gov

if it does get anywhere near 4p - and i am not sure it will - My advice is to consider getting out as there will only be pain when gazillions of placing shares get dumped

glad you see that churning gazillions of shares takes time...and destroys the SP. cos that is what is waiting any time this share goes above 4p. the bucket shop flippers will be desperate to unload their gazillions of placing shares.

not that it will affect you..you will have done a nice trade from 1.6p to 2p+

unfortunately there is the rub.

they bought ygen...but at present it seems to be being used more as a deflection from their own poor performance than they (ncyt bod) know what they want to do with it.

not a fan of LR but at least he had a vision for it. at this moment they need to give him the reins.

your statement sounds good but I don't see it being based in any reality at this moment in time judging by the AGM

Wilson - the problem is that ncyt is not making a profit. no clear strategy forward at present to turn that around. so why would they be valued at any more than cash? If there is a win - some people (like me) will cash out which will put the brakes on any further rise. Who will the new buyers be? ncyt dont give much jam tmrw and hardly any news - which PIs are going to go for it over the other possible shares out there?

which investor will look at that presentation the other day and say this company is going places with that management?

wb - at this moment £4 is not realistic imho...not unless covid rears its ugly head again with a more severe strain

erskey ...the warrants will expire. whether it is good news or not will be seen with time. If odx lose the dispute and have to pay back £2.5m ..then there will be a consolidation and placing. the company can not turn a profit and there is no sign of that changing. the SH will wish that the warrants had got cashed in

the only way 10p will happen is if consolidation of shares,..

dont forget the gazillions of placing shares that the bucket shop flippers are desperate to dump

i think LR would be better at playing the aim game - do something for SP. get a bit of life in it

current bod not only don't know how to do their job but they are also completely unable to hire someone capable as demonstrated by salad man, Lr is the best we are going to get imho.

yes he may well bust the company long term ...but the current bod look like they will fritter the cash away.

Since you didn't make reference to any placing shares to be dumped at a price of over 4 p..I think even with my sense of humour I have been more factual than you.

If you innocently had no idea of them..then maybe you should research and give the accurate number.

Harchris - it will need the gov to first back down - and then NCYT to back down and agree to a compromise offered. i think ncyt would as you correctly stated previously they have more to lose and prob would like to salvage the relationship with the gov for future products. So yes it will be determined most likely by the gov.

if their lawyers feel they can't win - will they push for a pre court deal?

p100 - ncyt have very good legal representation too. both sides seem very competent so will come down to the respective arguments.

my only experience of watching a court case with an AIM company - actually had a judge that was great..super fair and full of common sense.

at this moment i am comfortable on the dispute.

I would have to disagree.

i put probability of a deal before court date at 70% going on what happens normally in commercial litigation

if it goes to court i don't think it will be a split decision but one side or other wins.the judge will either rule the gov broke the contract and did not let ncyt sort the issues out ..or ncyt sold stuff or services that was no good. As we have CTDA approval it is hard to see that as an outcome.

can't give a figure on an outright win for either side - as we don't know the facts - so neutral best guess would be 50-50..though of course i think the odds are in NCYT favour.

so there is definitely no way a zero chance of a win outright

the way i see it is that if you look at the odds there is a pretty high probability that ncyt will either come out with cash in tact or something if not all

i have always listened to your comments and have several times defended you as i think you have been picked on at times unfairly - as have i - but i have to agree that was a poor comment to make about bankruptcy. a lot of us are hurting in our portfolios - but that sounds very wrong

erskine - although you are a new poster - i get the feeling you may have followed odx for awhile (*wink*)...so you will probably know there are a zillion shares that were issued in a placing at 4p.

the bucket shop flippers have been trapped in this share for much longer than they expected...if the sp ever gets above 4p then the floodgates will open

P100 - i did my calcs quite awhile back ..but roughly

we should be almost £1 just on cash in bank (£60m or so)

if we won outright and got £80m from gov then could easily be worth £2.30 ish just from cash (of £140m minus this years loss)

that is what i think - and why i still hold
