when warrants expire and there is minimal effect - they will say wait for results...when results are poor with smear of jam....they will say wait for next results...

There was a question on takeover ..but 5-0 has unsurprisingly distorted the response

Firstly you are clipping small quote and putting it out of context - you need to read the whole thing

secondly and most importantly the company issued warrants - with the intention of them being cashed in

- i will put it simply for you to understand....the company intended the dilution to get extra cash

so me talking about the dilution is hardly being underhand - just stating what the company wanted

if the placing shares had been able to be churned eg above 4p then the bucket shop flippers would naturally have exercised the warrrants cos anything above 4p and they are risk free

good question. we know the bucket shop flippers who bought in at the 4p placing are desperate to get out..they also still have a gazillion warrants - risk free.

i suspect they would bite your hand off for 20% at this moment...knowing they have warrants that they can cash in if ever the SP did climb.

with zillions of shares to flood the market above 4p...it will take an eternity to churn through.

so not for a very very very long time if ever

the question is what news do odx have coming to rise it above 4p?

we know they are currently running at a loss this financial year.....after one year of sole focus on snake oil....and usa - they got £50k contract...so as i always said it will be tougher than they think....google search and the first thing that comes up is bodies against IgG tests...which is very damaging

the gov dispute is more likely to result in odx having to pay back - so would be another hit to cash and sp

unless i am reading it wrong - the warrants have been unexercised...well who would buy shares for 4p when they can get them on open market for 3.3p

good news is that the clock is ticking and existing lth might escape the massive dilution

Good post atan.

I have mixed feelings on the warrants. Yes it is a failure that odx have not been able to bolster the sp to enable warrants to be exercised. Just confirms how poor the sp has been in the last year despite some of the fantasy pumping on here.

On the other hand it will be quite some escape if the 40% dilution does not happen.

The bucket shop flippers must be seething ..having their cash tied up for a year and the losing the prospect of a free ride ..risk free with the warrants.

The trading update is going to be interesting to quantify cash burn..as well as see how they are going to spin another loss making year with little in the way of news of any new significant contracts ..

How will they dress up their jam tomorrow ?
