The MMs will have a price level they want to take this to and given the low trading volumes, they can do it very easily. We're 5% down today on less than a million shares traded. There's no point fretting about it. Trade,sell or hold but whining about it changes nothing. Uncertainty about Kenya, Ghana tax dispute and high yields impact on refinancing all help the MMs/shorters hold the ascendancy for now.

Broker ratings are way way way down the list of things influencing the SP here. Ghana news, Kenya news, long term yield rates, oil price, obsessed shorters to name but a few, are all more relevant.

We need some news or more director buys to shake Tlw out of this comatose state. Even getting MMs can't be bothered to switch their auto algos on this morning, there's been more chat posts than trades so far today.

It doesn't continue to drop over recent months. Tlw is up 25% over last 6 months and basically flat over the last 3. Enquest, Ithica,Harbour,even BP have all performed worse over the same period. The sector is trailing oil price movements. Who knows how the big boys think/work but they can't ignore tge sector at these oil prices for much longer. IMHO

So, one week to go before end of the quarter. Will we see a conclusion to the Ghana gas deal( as indicated) or another interim arrangement and the can being kicked down the road( as has come to be expected with Tlw agreements in Africa).
