The Yahoo interview with the CEO was very enlightening. I bet he is very pleased that the stock price is not one of his KPI’s!!
It begins to sound like 2026 is the year when it could get back to near 2019 levels as they need debt reduced to approx $20b to get the balance sheet into shape to achieve “investment grade” status at which point dividends might resume.
Very interesting comment about fuel costs, too. Effectively “ we can’t control them so we concentrate on what we can control - usage”.
SP might cause us a bit of pain in the meantime, but only if one’s cashes out, I suppose.
How much if an effect is the ME situation having? Are ships still sailing through Suez, still calling at most ME ports except those on the Med Coast? Have any cruise lines made announcements?
