Jokes aside, it’s been peaceful on here recently. Calm before what I’m hoping will be a positive storm. Big few weeks coming up, with all eyes on results and whatever news follows it. Got a really good feeling about them but expect some shenanigans on the run up to them in terms of SP.

Looking forward to some updates on DIM and also Imutex which seems finally to be shaking itself free from endless stalling from SEEK.

Just my observations on price action more than anything.

It’s tested 17p a couple of times and bounced back almost instantly. Stands to reason as the last time we were in the 10-15p range the legal journey had just started and cash runway wasn’t assured so a higher support line seems logical as the company’s position is much stronger.

If a big seller comes to market there could be dips approaching 15p but I wouldn’t expect it to last long. The generally low volumes witnessed suggest that isn’t likely, if a big seller wanted out they’d have done so by now.

As I say, just my observations (and humble opinion) on price action which I’ve found to have a curious but quite predictable rhythm when watched closely.

Great rise to give a feel good factor into the weekend. Considering what we know now vs placing, this still looks good value.

I wouldn’t say I’m expecting an RNS Monday any more than any other day. SNG is pretty watertight in terms of leaks. But polygon has established a clear narrative that it intends to buy for as long as it can, and that breeds confidence. That’s been reflected in today’s trading IMO.

Monday will bring with it either a pullback or a meteoric rise if you know what drops. Let’s hope for option 2 ;)

Good point on the placing Doc, I think PIs who bought then would be hoping that their money would be funding manufacture by now.

I don’t necessarily see waiting for approval first to be an issue. Cautious yes but that’s Synairgen to a tee isn’t it. Delays will be limited as manufacturers scramble over one another for a JV/manufacturing deal, should we even need one and existing agreements prove insufficient to meet demand. In short, I would expect any log jam in production to be short lived, if at all.

I should imagine (and hope) this has all been well modelled and prepared for.

Don’t think too much can be read into it to be honest. Intraday, any meaningful gains are quickly sold into. All small volumes too. We could well stick between 18-20p for some time yet, until PTAB heats up next year or we hear news on another front.

Plenty of us just hunkering down waiting for the big one!

Therapeutics had their moment at the start of the pandemic. I remember vividly the rush for ventilators, testing steroids, even asthma inhalers in a desperate bid to try and stem mortality rates. I heard first hand from a friend working on the front line that Dexamethasone was having some impact in terms of saving lives but that it came with a whole host of side effects that would often complicate symptoms. Other than that, there was really not much else out there that could be administered to help in hospital setting.

Then, focus quickly shifted to vaccines. And with that change of emphasis, It’s actually mad to think that the therapeutics landscape has barely shifted since the start of this pandemic in terms of what’s available.

My theory is that the vaccine push was seen as a bit of a ‘national effort’ and appetite for any subsequent boosters will be much much less. I think the average joe will be wary of keep pumping vaccines into their system ad infinitum.

I see this ‘narrative’ as very bullish for SNG. The stage is set for a therapeutic that works. I’ve long contended that all the vaccines in the world won’t truly solve this crisis if not paired up with a suite of therapies that save lives. The average daily death rate in the UK is now north of 200! Just because mr media wants everyone to think all is hunky dory does not mean that the system is again beginning to creak.

Against this backdrop, Synairgen could potentially be the white Knight of this pandemic. I certainly believe so, and have been quietly adding to my position whenever it’s been possible.

Probably because it should’ve been RNSd first I’m guessing. Expect results there or there abouts, someone just a bit trigger happy in the Investor Meets communication dept!

I’ve never understood the buyout argument if SNG are going to all the trouble, and shouldering all the risk, of a full trial schedule, and have means of production. I would wager offers have already been tabled, and turned down. I just don’t see Marsden et al giving over their life’s work just as genuine commercial success beckons.

If there is a buyout, it’ll be in the billions. It’s something I personally don’t want. If the treatment works as well as we think it will, and the COPD pipeline down the track, then dream world valuations could be realised. Sure a buyout would mean a tidy profit for all at this entry point, but I personally feel it could be much much bigger than £10 a share…

Another really good day today, price moved strongly upwards on big volumes again. Still crazy value when you think of earnings and what’s to come.

If Ear is an actual investor here I have genuine concerns for their mental health. It is clearly not healthy to be haunted by all these negative thoughts, and, worse still, to indulge them and air them in wordy diatribes as spurious as they are venomous, round the clock. It’s just not a good mix to constantly absorb oneself in such a toxic mental space, picking fights left right and centre to only stoke the fire further.

For the sake of this individual I hope they are just a deramper because the alternative is really quite unsavoury to comprehend. Investment is, I’m assuming, an important part of all our lives, but it doesn’t, and should never, dominate our lives and our thought processes. I fear that if ear is a genuine investor then his grasp on reality and the facts is deeply obscured by a fog of obsession, one upmanship and hubris. If you have skin in OO, for your own good, ear, take a break from the boards because it’s clearly doing you great damage. I genuinely mean that in the best/nicest possible way.

Back in June the cat was out the bag about Activ 2 progression, today has added fuel to the fire. I’m never one to count my chickens but surely there is enough evidence to support the theory that phase 3 is a done deal. Looking forward to tomorrow!

You’re talking about wearable tech. The GDPR consent would be between a consumer and the tech company. DIM isn’t wearable tech. It’s an anonymised data set that It’s about as relevant to GDPR as a bus timetable. Your ignorance on these matters is astounding, compounded further by your aggressive and confrontational tone. Educate yourself.

Don’t forget the ‘significant’ ampligen contract amount wasn’t disclosed, along with a couple of others, there could be some nice surprises the results. If CF can follow today’s great news with a couple more over the coming months, the sentiment will shift quite quickly… any updates on SEEK in tbe meantime will be a real shot in the arm too. Plenty to look forward to and patience will be rewarded.

The DIM model has never meant keeping tabs on individuals and keeping personal data but rather modelling how illnesses progress via various measures eg heart rate, temperature, blood pressure etc. Big tech is interested in this because it could allow hardware/app development with the massive USP of being a wearable doctor. You can imagine what this data might be worth.

I assumed people already knew that DIM data is anonymised and the value lies in how such a dataset could lead to big breakthroughs in the above tech.

Yes this is a COVID play but this treatment could potentially reach far beyond this pandemic.

But let’s not forget SNG has some really promising potential for COPD too. 16 million suffer in the US alone. Not to mention any other of the many illnesses that target the respiratory system. Whilst the trial results we all wait on will bring to a kind of conclusion the COVID arc, it’s just the beginning of discovering what this treatment can do…

Off the back of the RNS I did a bit of digging on our new non exec director. Quite the CV it would appear! Founded novum securities (check out their website) and also sits on the board of a number of other companies as a non exec director. His specialism seems to be seed funding and fund raising generally…which leads me to thinking that perhaps he was central to the debt instrument we’ve all been discussing.

So why the appointment?

I personally don’t see nanoco as needing funding per se, cash runway has been widely discussed and RNSd, so perhaps Henry’s expertise could come into its own if, in the case of a settlement, we need those new funds to achieve maximum growth going forward?

My guess is Nano don’t want any settlement funds sitting on a balance sheet achieving nothing, and perhaps Henry would have some good ideas about how to really grow the business through the new funds that a legal settlement would give us.

I personally see the appointment as a good thing but does anyone have any alternative viewpoints?

At risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, all signs are pointing to an orchestrated tree shake in my opinion.
Before trading today the SP was primed to test some very old resistance levels. Combined with the negative prevailing mood in terms of investor sentiment, that’s fertile ground for a concerted selling effort. Make no bones about it, traders watch these boards. Finally, add in these new posters to the board today, who all seem very doom and gloom, and I think that by triangulating that evidence you arrive at the real reason why we are being pummelled.
In the cold light of day what has fundamentally changed other than sentiment and SP?

There is no way an investor who is in AIM, picking their own stocks, is hand wringing over an SP like this. Your reference to Quindell implies you’ve been investing some time, making your panic over an SP even more astonishing, but also making your ‘if it wasn’t for the fact I’m in the red’ comments more bizarre.

I’m not going to engage with the concept that there are parallels between OO and Quindell because that is a frankly laughable comment. But I will say that you should know by now that being in the red is not a valid reason for continuing to hold a stock if you think it’s toast (pardon the pun).

It’s simple, sell up and move on, hold, or buy more, but being in what appears to be a constant state of panic about the SP all the time isn’t helpful for your mental health or for the health of discussion on this board.

Amerloque, important to remember the litigation isn’t just a potential payday. Immensely valuable IP is returned to us and ring fenced if we are successful. This could mean a licensing deal with Samsung or anyone else for that matter. Earnings will quickly follow on from any success on the legal front in my opinion…
