Hello all,

Good RNS this morning. The lock in will build a strong base for the SP and increased stability too as we are less likely to be traded with all this going on.

Results a key milestone in the sense the sense that there will be a great deal of interest in the forward looking statement and I wouldn’t be surprised for the brakes to be taken off on the RNS front shortly afterwards.

Worth sticking around for!

With a company like OO, there’s nothing wrong with silence. We know they aren’t twiddling their thumbs and the longer we wait for news, the bigger/more news I’ll reckon there will be.

Desert, CF has, on occasion, been over ambitious with timescales, I’ll give you that, but calling it blether and blarney seems a bit strong. The man has worked wonders so far and I expect some exciting updates this evening.

It’s obviously not a pre requisite but there’s been a bit of a trend with Orph and RNS drops before/immediately around investor presentations.

I assume CF likes to create a feel good factor about the presentations and as we know, of late, the SP has failed to retest ATHs due to relative silence on the RNS front. So it makes sense for him to have something in the wings...of course,I could be wrong!

DB - I’m thinking/hoping that CF will have a clear party line/ pre-prepared statement on the spin offs that will hopefully clear up once and for all the fog that seems to have bothered some on here.

Last thing we, or he, wants is the whole presentation hijacked by spin off questions.

For many months now, the price has moved on very low trading volumes, rarely does it breach 1m shares. The only significant buys in recent memory are Lombard and a large PI who has had a long term position. My point is, I really don’t think there’s that much speculative money in this share.

I’m sure you’ve seen, and been involved, in shares that get mauled by traders every week and every RNS. Nano’s price action hasn’t behaved like that recently. This is good news because the price is giving us a true signal about buyers and sellers, without heavy trading manipulating the reality of the situation.

We are all agreed that if the court case goes against us it will be bad; I don’t think it will be existential (as I once did) but it will be a long road back and we will probably test all time lows if new business or contracts fail to materialise in the meantime. For that reason, it has to be money you’re prepared to lose. However, sound investing must always be based on that principle. No company is bulletproof. Investing money you’re prepared to lose means you act rationally and don’t hit the panic button. Common sense really.

But all that risk aside, the upside potential is epic and for that reason, timescales are not that important. I believe this share will reward patience and any SP movement between now and the big day THAT RNS drops is irrelevant.

No not aimed at you personally mate, just thinking generally since the spin out RNS I feel the spin out narrative has been used to engineer doubt and ‘underhandedness’ where there is none.

End of the day as shareholders we voted for this, and surely there’s no CEO we would trust to do a better, and fairer, job of it than Cathal.

I take issue with those that repeatedly, brain numbingly, keep going on about the minutiae of spin off shares prior to a cut off and hence more detail being announced. This is not you Si, but a certain group of posters that keep returning to this topic when at the minute there is no reason to.

I understand people want detail and it will come in due course.

How on god’s green earth have we ended up back in this cul-de-sac again?!

CF is focused on shareholder value. He’s on the record saying so. We all know the 1bil quoted figure. Wait and see what details come out re newco but no reason to doubt CF at all.

I bought in at 170, averaged down on the day it plummeted to 120 and averaged down again today at 111.

I just wanted to touch on a point you may remember when we dropped from 160-120. Plenty on this board ‘calling’ 90p and advising others to wait for that as a signal to buy. Well those lot have well and truly missed the boat now!

Something I’ve said in as many words a few times before but I’ll say again now. If you invest in AIM, in companies at a relatively early stage in their growth cycle, this is all absolutely par for the course. If these price movements are worrying you and making you question your investment, then AIM is not the place for you.

Anyone who can see just a little way beyond the end of their own nose can see where this is headed. Surely we are a better brand of PI than the sort that panic as soon as they see a paper loss and bail? Surely we can appreciate, at times, that the disconnect between SP and what we know about a company is just a fact of life that will sort itself out in time...

Everyone just needs to be calm and stop fixating on the current SP

Whilst I admire the diligence and sleuthing of some investors, it’s important to remember that we are just that: investors. There does come a point where, having done all due diligence, we leave the team to do the donkey work.

No reason at all to see anything underhanded here. It’s just lining up the soldiers. Been a very dull couple of weeks in Orph world (fine- can’t all be white knuckle stuff) so perhaps boredom is behind some of these cul-de-sac enquiries. Let’s hope for some fireworks next week!

One quick question relating to the stay, how long will it take the judge to reach a decision about whether to grant or deny Samsung’s request?

Definitely a disappointment but bigger picture is the litigation, fully funded, marches on regardless. Samsung is going down the death by a thousand cuts line and whilst it would be a real shame for nano to become an IP shell, there is no way that Samsung can play this that won’t result in a day in court or a settlement. Just a case of holding on and, if you have the appetite for it, topping up on the dips. The mintz move is looking like a master stroke, we could’ve been well south of 20p had it not been funded.

When you think of the scale of Samsung’s operation, and all the potential custom that’s been scared away from Nano as a result of this theft, it really does make my blood boil. I’m convinced nano would now be a central player in the QD display field, multi billion dollar territory. It’s really an absolute scandal what’s happened and now Samsung adds insult to injury with all this. There’s part of me thinks no settlement would truly compensate nano for what they’ve endured.

We just wait, and hope, that justice will prevail.

Totally understand the caution here but 25p post markman is a crazy price.

I really don’t see the concern re a fundraise because if we are successful on the legal front then it’ll be to scale up operations, not like previous fundraises which were a means of survival. Such fundraises are a positive sign and if IIs don’t have the appetite for the placing, PIs will.

Either way we await PTAB and let’s not forget what a win the markman RNS was, even if the market took no notice I guarantee you it would have done had it been 4-1 the other way. Markman was the bigger hurdle IMO and we are over it quite cleanly.

Happy to be patient and certainly no appetite for selling pre PTAB and/or trial.
