RE: What does this mean2 May 2021 10:27
I think it’s also important to debunk the ‘time is running out for Synairgen’ narrative, which I think is why there was so much disappointment on Friday, and why the SP got trashed, especially as the US market woke up in the afternoon and really compounded the sell off.
We know that the market has contracted for SNG based on the vaccine rollout and other treatments, but anyone who thinks we will hit ‘Covid 0’ is deluded. There is still plenty of time for SNG, not least because public appetite for lockdowns ad infinitum is virtually 0. Governments are having to accept the uncomfortable truth that they can’t run on fumes and that the majority of tne populace want at least a semblance of normality. This will of course mean, like the flu, that waves of this virus will become something we have to deal with, rather than eradicate.
Simply put, Covid is something society is going to have to learn to live with, even discounting mutations and variations, I expect that the market for remedies that prevent serious illness/ death will still be absolutely needed. Based on the efficacy results we all are waiting for I wouldn’t be surprised to see a rush for this treatment. There is so much dross out there that should we get stellar results, we will see this company selling to most of tne developed world.
This is just my opinion of course, but patience is the key here. And with so much negative sentiment about at the moment it’s important to try and take a long view at times like this and see that the viability of SNG hasn’t really diminished at all.
