They have been doing a lot of surveys since taking over the license just over a year ago
There are a lot of interviews with the CEO and the enthusiasm about what they've found is encouraging
It certainly is not as big as GGP find and there is a lot of proving up to do but looks very exciting. Getting production going looks imminent, approvals seem to take time but I believe they can start on the existing mine workings where they have found additional seems
I'm very optimistic about the prospects

Off topic. Just been reading the north wales daily post and North wales live. Alba Minerals reckon they have found 9 km length of gold resources near Dolgellau gold mine , Welsh gold fetches 2-3 times normal gold prices
Just topped up again how exciting :))

I'm very tempted to buy back in but my heads telling me to sit on my hands.
Will the Psn update effect the Tw sp, I believe it will if their margins are lower and with all their strategies of improving quality
My friend has a couple of millionaire racing chums and I asked him are what are they doing with their cash are they sat on it . He replied no but they are selling stocks and piling into HSBC and Bp mainly cos of the quarterly divis but Bp are still dropping (x divi today) and HSBC have Hong Kong issues
So I am still sitting on my hands and it's hurting:))

Looking at the builders share prices Gfrd look tempting and with rumours that Bovis are back it's got to be the best punt.
I can't believe that the big boys won't muscle in and spoil Bovis chances

It's obvious that Tw have been spending money on their new strategy of customer first. More quality managers and inspections will make subcontractors do it right first time or they will have to put it right at their expense.
Tw shouldn't need the scheme that Psn have taken on.
Psn will take a hit with their interim results regarding the quality issues and reduced turnover, whether it is as the market expects who can say but if it's worse it could take the whole sector with it. Let's hope it's a good update

Talking about Trump I heard he went to the doctors recently feeling a bit stressed and the doctor said to him does obesity run in your family.
Trump stared at him thinking, the doctor was getting worried that he had said the wrong words. Trump then replied well I've thought about it and I can't remember anyone running in our family :))

This downward pressure on the market has been brewing for sometime.
Every time I've watched the news recently something happens to add to that pressure. Trump, Iran, China, our useless government and the latest a by-election new majority of one.
I'm going to hold on to my cash for a while longer before buying back in

Troubles is right this is like a bungee jump when it hits the bottom it will spring back up and down again, trouble is no one knows how long the rope is.
I sold a lot here at just under 170 and expecting to buy back but going to leave it for a while

I lost my nerve last week sold all my Psn at a loss but looks like the right move this morning and also half my shares here.
I intend to buy back though my Tw shares but will wait a bit, doubt if I will stray into Psn, once bitten and all that

Well I think I made the right move selling out, brave to buy in this market, l also sold a lot of my Tw. Hard times ahead I think nothing going right for share investing. My GGP are the only ones holding up at mo

Well that brings back memories, if I could find a chap with a safety hat on to doff to the boss I would be very lucky. The threat of kicking them off the site for not wearing one made no difference.
I've got photos of me not wearing them as well but before the safety laws were tightened.
In 1973 on an oil refinery in canvey island the American owners paid one person for every 2 or 3 workers to make sure we kept our hats on. You try looking through a theodolite with a peaked hat on impossible :))

I went through from site engineer to construction manager. I tried to do all my paperwork in the evenings as I made a point of getting to know the workers and weeding them out. The ones that tried hard I helped no matter what their ability, ones that didn't were out.
I couldn't take unions far too militant for my liking, as an example the carpenters on a multi storey car park wouldn't come out the canteen if a cloud was coming and you couldn't get rid of them

I think the labour market will decide on labour rates it doesn't need or want interference from an outside source
Historically the building unions caused nothing but grief and job losses running up to the 1981 recession so I hope it doesn't go down that route again
A good worker will be able to agree their own rates
Keep at it Ben , well someone got to pay my pension :))

When I jumped in here I never expected to stay very long and certainly didn't see that big drop coming
Being in construction all my career through Bryant's I've never really taken to Psn the quality has always been in an issue for me
The price will probably rise when I've sold but at least I will limit my losses as I think there will be more downward pressure before the end of October

It's not looking good here with the Psn update looming after Tw's yesterday .
I sold some to at a loss and will look at reducing further tomorrow. Think I will put it into Bp or Rio. The latter paid out over £3 divi and the price went up £4
Psn paid out £2.35 and went down £5
Nerves are getting to me with builders after yesterday

I know how you feel, at least you got a big divi to look forward to in Nov
I've got a big chunk in Psn and I'm down a bit, but got no divi till Apr, been airing whether to take the hit and get back into Bp where I would get 3 divis before April and with the pound being low their divi will rise with the currency conversion
