Everybody is talking about how cheap they can buy their beers for at the moment.
In the last update off sales haven't been doing well
If the beers are selling that cheap Marstons can't be getting a fair price and why aren't they asking for more
Pubs are struggling to keep open with people drinking at home, I personally like to go out and meet people in pubs

I hope the alcohol tax is changed onto the supermarkets and less on the pubs, if it's not then we will all find it difficult to find a pub still open :((

The market has been telling the Bod for a long time that debt levels but RF insisted it was manageable. Well looks like he's realised it's not and drastic reduction required
Think the drop in sp will be short lived and will gradually rise especially if this weather continues

This debt reduction focus is about 18 months late in my opinion when it was brought up at the agm
The new builds should have stopped then , the growth from these hasn't been reflected in the sp because of the high levels of debt
Glad to see the sale of the Pitcher & piano I wasn't impressed with that chain
The levels of debt reduction should help the sp to recover but maybe slowly

Sat in my locals garden this lunchtime I couldn't get over the amount of mums coming in with their kids.
Orange, lemonade,Pepsi is it Marston I should be invested in or Bvic, so I asked the manager how trade was and he replied 40% up on last year .
Stick where I am a bit longer and buy some more Britvic

From the last Rns they have said "Legal completions were lower reflecting the customer service initiatives and lower sales which has reduced active sites by 8%"
Probably 2 ways of reading that but it looks like reducing sites to me

I thought Psn were cutting back on new site openings while they were concentrating on the quality issues.
I got stuck in a traffic jam this morning in road works, you guessed it another housing site opening

I was told this story by an old friend:-
He was an apprentice in a butchers shop on a cold frosty xmas eve and they were getting ready to close when Mrs Smith and her 8 kids came in.
She asked what price for that chicken so he weighed it and said that is one and a half pounds, she said that it was a bit small can I have a bigger one. He went out the back to ask the butcher who said that is the last one, take the chicken back to the scales and make sure your thumb is firmly on the scales and tell her the heavier weight which he did. She said that's better I will have them both
My friend went back to the butcher and said your problem :))

It was formed from the remnants of Uk Coal and specialise in remediation of land around the old Harworth pit and others so would be capital intensive work
Looks like one guy retired last year and he had millions of shares

Right at this moment I would say Aim is more safer than some of the main stocks i.e. Debenhams, Thomas Cook even M&S Plus others, but I know what you mean. I was hoping to be out of oil stocks bar BP by now but still in a loss with a few .

There is so much news of big things happening in Aim much more exciting than the ftse
For example Cerp have announced the start of drilling on Southwest peninsula of Trinidad in September, I've been waiting 10 years for this could be mega very cheap at 3.25p , I'm my losses will be recovered and a lot more - broker target 21p
Ggp though could be the biggy as Dale Winton used to say " you got to be in it to win it"

That's tweeting my memory cells. When I first worked in Worcester there was a televised hod carrying championship and a huge guy from Worcester won it carrying 36 bricks up a ladder.
I expect the youngsters here don't know what a hod is :))

From metal bulletin.com it's chrome wrap prices that have fallen heavily over the last week and prices range between 883-913 and imports have fallen 17% in China.

Also a piece on Tharisa in South Africa are producing over 300,000 tonnes a quarter of chrome concentrate

Yes it's a lot of revenue every month just from the chrome. Good news for the sp l hope

I see the price of chrome has dropped in China to $800-$900 tonne this week.
From the Rns they targeted 25,000 tonnes for June
That should stop anymore dilution l hope, going to take a lot to get back my investment

I wonder if this refers to new licences, it should give a boost to the sp when news is released

Yes I'm still holding, l have sold some at a nice profit and got half my money back.
I did post on it when they were all going on about staying till the end game, that a dangerous plan. The idea on Aim is to get your initial investment back and the rest are free shares, they are the only shares I shall own at the end . Not sure what the end will be, can't really see a sale of the company more the assets. That's also my relatives view and he's high up in the game.
