From the swp presentation
There are 3 targets upper, middle and lower cruise no target figures have been given for the top 2, the lower cruise is the main target. The well is on an updip from the existing UBOT 1 well where the strata trap is running up towards Saffron
The 45% chance of success is for the lower cruise. UBOT1 produced at it's height 207 bopd
The lower cruise has an estimate of oil in place of 66mm stoiip with a recoverable 10m barrels approx
The main risks are not knowing the extent of compartments/sections/traps especially of the upper 2 levels
The fill in the target is 100% for P90,50,10,1

Clove has a lot of smaller targets with one of 30m barrels stoiip and another at the bottom of the well unknown

Not sure if I can post the link it's on copyright it was sent to a relative who used to run a mining company in Canada and he subscribes. There wasn't anything new in it that hasn't been seen before and the sketch of the drills
He hadn't heard of Ggp before I told him of it and flew to Oz to see his contacts, they told him it was early days, it needs a reserves confirmation.
You can guess what I said to him, jump in with both feet :))

I thought the market response to Havieron news from Newcrest was muted it is the confirmation of reserves we need to make the sp move. Just got to be patient there
GGP s own drilling results on other licences will have more effect on the sp is what I'm waiting for

Nice to see respected miming analyst GMR spreading the word of Havieron and Ggp especially in Canada, although they're not mentioning anything new

I'm still hoping for another offer, a poster on that board told me the £100m is long term loan but I'm not sure on that
Whatever happen I won't hold on to Bovis shares
Construction margins are always low it's the Quantity Surveyors job to get betterment with sub-contractors and buyers with materials
Profits from alterations and instructions from architects and clients can be huge, Which is where Gfrd have a £56m claim
I'm holding on to mine, great 35p divi

Looks like it going to be a nervous start today Asian and Indian stocks are down, Rightmove have issued news that September new house sales have stalled and the sharp rise in oil price
Head in sand here today :))
Going to keep my eye on my little oil stocks Cerp been doing great last week , ukog likely to rise also gold prices have risen looking good there too

It would probably make Buffet more money if investors didn't diversify, profiteering out of others bad luck
I never listen to derampers for that reason

Looking at the debts in the report it looks like a fire sale with the £100m short term loans due imo
Bovis have got Linden Homes on the cheap and gets Gfrd out of a hole
Long term loans looks large totalling £1.7bn
Looks good from Gfrd shareholder point of view having nearly half their holding in Bvs shares and their original shares.
I can't see this tanking to 90p not with £2.2bn turnover if it does it will soon rebound in my opinion
I intend to hold been here a long time, l feel a better future for construction firms with so few about.

I've had my lad look at the Bovis/Gallifords merger
He said from a Gfrd shareholder point of view it looks a good deal but said it looks like a fire sale.
Lost me with the figures but the £100m is to cover short term loans, there are 2 other figures of long term loans totalling £1.7bn , I tried finding that again doh.
He said it looks like they couldn't cover the short term loan and needed to sell quickly
He said hold on there's no way it will go to 80p it's a good deal even if it looks like Bovis have got a very cheap deal and no wonder their price has shot up.
Gfrd still a good hold with £2.2bn turnover

Standard house types are easy to build but they destroy the identities of towns and villages
3 storey town houses cramped together with nowhere to park on once green and pleasant land
There is no originality on design anymore.
If I was designing I would put the cars underground and do away with the roads making more green space, houses could have a bigger foot print and more houses per site

I can tell you now that diversification is the only way to protect your hard earned savings what a stupid statement from that old bloke
From first hand experience of not diversifying having built up a large holding in Bryant's and then Taylor Woodrow I watched in disbelief it fall from £5 to 4p and possible bust. It happened very quickly and with little work years left to get it back
I will never ever put myself in that position again , so as I said what a stupid statement

That's a huge return 10.37% very tempted.
Thing is I not keen on most house builders I don't like their products, I think standardising house types is appalling, one town looks just like another, no originality to be better than a competitor

My philosophy is to keep diversified, spread the risk
St Ledger day today might make a difference on Monday according to the saying

You're quite right it is the flow that counts especially under it's own pressure would be better, not restricted on pump sizes then
Just a bit of what to expect BP are targeting a 20m reserve and expect to get 12000 bopd so if we got 10m we could expect upto 6000 bopd but each well is different and all have their own limitations and all down to pump sizes and well stability

The API in icacos is between 25-29 from memory way lower than Goudron in the high 30s. I'm not expecting API over 30 from Swp and therefore no premium
It's Goudron where we should be getting a premium but spt tax is holding that back, be glad to see the back of it so the taps can be turned on again

I am in a tiz not knowing where to put my cash I try not to cross over from divi to growth stocks if I can help it. My cousin sent me an analyst report from Canada about Havieron nothing new but it's getting out there. It confirms that Newcrest are running out of reserves at their Winu mine they need to mine quickly. Very exciting
One of my duff small stocks has announced a 5% divi GKP so will move them into my divi side
Besides Tw I'm looking at Fullers x divi 2nd October paying £1.25 capital return that would give me a few k to put into Ggp, that's a whopping 10.37% better than Bdev
Oh what to do, what a problem :))

Tw high point always seems to come after xmas this is what I'm aiming for
Was going to hold my cash till Brexit sorted but looks GE in Nov and it still unclear from the polls who will win it's not going to be a straight forward election, more uncertainty:((

I'm the last person to talk to about accounts but I believe the £186m is an annual average debt and £58m end of year debt. My lad can see through accounts so I will get his take on it over the weekend
Besides that I've had a great week especially with Tw rising so much let's hope it goes on into next week. My hunch is for 1.86 prior the x divi then drop back unless Boris puts his foot in it
On my smaller shares review I've done much better than here % wise so big smiles all weekend

From the Bovis Rns they are taking on the £100m of Gfrd debt which I thought would make them debt free but your saying otherwise
