Your posts seem to be getting more and more negative you are listening to the wrong posts, why don't you do some research
Goudron has been the bread and butter for this company for many years but like other fields on Trinidad it suffers from depletion and takes a lot of work to keep it flowing. Which is why the water flood is taking place. The spt tax has meant it's not economic to spend cash to pump more water in but they are still doing the pilot trials.

The CO2 injection on Innis Trinity could bring a cash injection into Cerp.

Saffron is in the Swp but it's on the Bonasse license and since the deal with Bolt this has always been on the cards

To me the Swp campaign is Cedros and Icacos

About 18 months ago there was an article on Suriname oil industry in the National Geographic magazine
WNK wasn't mentioned but Tambaredjo was. Apache oil were partnering Staatsolie as far as I could make out.
The oil quality is very heavy 16-20 api, will be interesting to find out the api of WNK

Apparently CO2 works best in heavy oil making it more fluid

No spare cash I'm afraid put it all into Cerp a few weeks back and doubled since. I need my divi from here to top up again

Before anyone says you shouldn't be investing in oil which I probably agree with, the economies of so many countries big and small would collapse and be catastrophic.
To me hydrogen is the future but it's not quite there. Electric will not be sustainable in the long term as it's not emission free at the point of manufacture

I have a 5 year plan to reduce my oil stocks and replace gradually with Itm stock. They will be pumping 20% hydrogen into the National Grid for our Tw buyers to keep warm. It is only a punt for me at the mo , so I'm not ramping it,but see it as the way forward
Oil firms do pump CO2 back into the wells so not all bad

Might have been a disappointing week here least we got a good divi to look forward to but excitement on my 2 little stocks Cerp and Ukog very busy week.
The nutters have been out in force on both boards all I can see is green lines :))

The main target on the Saffron well is the lower Cruse 77m barrels of reserves.
It states on the presentation there are 2 unknown layers but looking at it closely there are 3 more layers where the drill is passing through making 5 unknowns
I would expect the rig to drill through these layers to get to the lower Cruse and possible infill drilling later
It does say on the presentation that follow on wells are possible and that could mean the shallow infill for these targets
The Clove well is right next to the beach, does anyone know where are license finishes?

The market has been knocking this hard last couple of days far too hard in my opinion got to go back up

I'm under no illusion of the risks involved with finding and extracting oil
The only api I've noticed from other wells are all below 30 and nowhere near the quality oil of Goudron, but saying that we are drilling into the same strata as Goudron and oil is rising to the Saffron well so may be a lighter oil
Regarding the infrastructure ,on the presentation on the web site the capex chart for this year shows a small cost of tanks and pipeline. Next year sees a big increase in these costs which I'm presuming will come from Gordon's imaginative fund raising and production.
I've stated before I'm expecting the lower cruse to produce the same as UBOT 1 or more at 200 and hopefully 50 each from the other 2 layers
I have my feet firmly on the floor after spending 8 years for this time so I am excited but cautious

EPI have advised CERP that there are 12 targets with between 20m and 400m barrels of reserves.
There must be one with 20m and another with 400m, that means another 10 targets we don't know the numbers.
If I was a ramper I would say those 10 all have 399m
But being somewhere down the middle I reckon they all have 398m :))))
Be a load of green lights now all saying 21m :(((

Just wondering where this huge target could be?
Don't think people realise what it could mean if we hit a target this big. Majors would be all over us, transformational :))

Setting up the rig should be fairly straightforward, looking at the photo of that rig I can't see taking longer than a few days
I've only had experience with piling rigs and tracked pile rig I've had it working on day of arrival
If it lands today we could spud by weekend and upper cruse by middle next week is my guess

Looking at the Swp presentation it looks like Upper Cruse is less than 1000' at Saffron and higher than in Clove.

The sands are at surface so should be a fairly quick drill with our "Rolls Royce" drilling rig
The time factor is whether they hit oil in the upper cruse will they stop ,case it and test the flow rate or just go straight for the lower cruse
I hope this news comes with the spudding announcement

They are drilling a 12" core then casing and then using an 8" core bit down to 3800', the plan is then to drill horizontally to 5800'
They are drilling in a naturally fractured limestone, I'm not sure whether we could drill a horizontally in these sands
I suspect initially all our wells will be vertical 8" but the bigger the core the bigger the pump
Horizontal wells can give 3x bopd than a vertical so one day perhaps
Also an octopus well consisting of up to 8 horizontal wells can be from one well head

I've been following the UkOG drill at Horse Hill their rig has only taken a week to put up and they spudded Sunday morning.
Interesting that they are drilling a 12" dia core before casing and then proceeding with an 8". I wonder if we will be told this sort of detail?

The initial flow rate from Saffron could be high, initial flow rates from some of the Goudron wells were over 1000bopd but soon tailed off .
Saffron has an advantage in being sited over an up dip with oil flowing towards the well
UBOT 1 was producing from a down dip at 207bopd with oil flowing away from it, so I would personally be expecting that figure of production as a minimum
Plus there are the 2 unknown layers to add to that figure
