Deutsche has downgraded Wizz from buy to hold and the new forecast price is £14 from £15.

To me this is an early Christmas present. We'll get to buy Wizz at a discount for the next 2 pay days.

The bottom line was that the downgrade was issued due to a fall in estimated net profit for Q2 from €252m to €240m.

In my opinion, that adjustment in estimate is within the margin of error, therefore pretty irrelevant.

That's totally fine by me because I enjoy reacting.

The point, John, for me is when you posted information about the production line at Boeing, that was useful and interesting. When you Troll which you do, you're just trying to provoke a reaction.

There's no way that you can say Yeslam, Lucas, Taut or me are ramping. We just discuss Wizz, it's issues and it's potential. Ramping to the few people that read this forum would be useless.

We don't need to be told that we should invest our money in Gold coins. We don't because we don't want to (I do have gold and silver coins, irrelevant though).

When you say unfortunately logic doesn’t count for much: Are you meaning that if Wizz gets all of it's grounded Aircraft back and achieves a pre-covid profitability level- per Aircraft. And Wizz conduct a share buyback.

Then Logic would suggest that the share price rises.

Your view is that logic is irrelevant and the share price may fall?

The other point: willing to wait years. In my case, I had an 8 year time horizon when I started investing in Wizz in September 2023. So now I have a 6 year time horizon.

All of us reading your posts understand that Macroeconomics, Geopolitics, various other black Swan events could be seriously detrimental to the share price. But I'm guessing that we've all made an assessment of the risk vs reward potential of Wizz and we like what we see.

Why are you giving Yeslam a hard time now? He/She gives us great information regarding the status of Wizz Air's aircraft, along with Lucas. I hope that Lucas is still with us.

There's a huge difference between US Airlines (Which Warren Buffet is referring to) and UK, or European LCC Airlines. US Airlines are absolutely squeezed by the strongest Unions in the World. They'll happily ground the Airlines during contract negotiations.

I would never invest in any US Airline. Nor would I invest in IAG or RYAAY at this moment.

Wizz is the only really investable Airline right now. IMO.

To be fair on you. If you've just bought Wizz now and you're coming on here. Then in my view, as long as you're a long term hold then I think that you're timing is Great!

I think that Wizz are just turning around now and that it's potential is phenomenal.

The technique this Pilot used was nice. It's what I prefer in a crosswind. He aligned the nose with the runway early. The problem with that, is it seems more "wobbly " to the passengers than it should be because once you've aligned, the wind blows you off the Centerline, so you need to keep banking the Aircraft to stay on the center line.

The sad thing was the hard landing which Wizz did in Prague the other day in perfect weather conditions. Oh well, could be worse, could be Ryanair.

I don't see EZJ as being the same as Wizz at all. EZJ are not as low cost as Ryanair or Wizz. They have a unionised work force in the UK which comes with costs. The vast majority of their business is UK centric and the UK is not doing that well. There's going to be very little Growth for them in the UK. Add to that, they have 80 very old A319 aircraft that are low capacity and high on maintenance costs (ask Lucas).

Wizz probably have a challenge free PE of around 2, EZJ's PE is 7-8. Between these two companies, Wizz is the only investment choice. Mid term hold.

With all approvals in place, I would be very surprised if they didn't start operating between the New BOM Airport and BUD as soon as possible. Using BUD as an unofficial hub.

They can't scrap the idea of flying to India. It's a massive market with 50 new Airports in the next 5 years. Well within range of central and southern Europe for the XLR. With summer winds, it's potentially? In range of the UK for a seasonal operation.

Having said that. The new Airport in Mumbai is opening very soon. Hopefully Wizz can take full advantage.

Would Wizz be able to get slots into BOM or DEL? They're both very busy airports, particularly BOM. BOM as an Airport is a dinosaur. Only really one usable runway.

This is disappointing. I thought that Wizz would be the first Airline to start using the XLR between Europe and India.

Look at flight radar 24. Look at East European Airspace. There are hundreds of Aircraft from all over the World flying all of the time. They're not about to close down that Airspace. It will all be very well protected.

The recent incursion of drones into Polish Airspace will not represent a long term problem. From what I understand, there were 2 F35's (Nato, non Polish) patrolling the area. Their "rules of engagement " didn't allow them to shoot down the drones. It was only Polish aircraft that were scrambled after the event really that were allowed to shoot. They took down 4 of the 23. Going forward all Nato aircraft will be able to take down the drones as they cross the border. This event will not effect Wizz.
