Hey Pete yes you’re riight 3 are little disrupters, but this move is quite a thing, probably couple of years too early for other operators who are still investing in fibre. I’ve been watching this product in the states from Verizon, as far as I can tell it’s working well, delivering amazing speeds.

Pacey I think you miss the point, swapping high value retail customers for low value wholesale back haul is bad for BT all round& 3 started unlimited 4G first so why not 5G ?

Are launching 5G fixed broadband across 25 UK cities before the end of 2019...... that might disrupt our world ?

Avrohom - don’t you mean like sky? Obviously I don’t want to add credence to your post, but the point about BT is they have retail & host wholesale customers. So, for instance a move to TalkTalk is still an RGU for BT. (Less yes but still good business)

I don’t know what country you live in, but in mine, my queen rules over me and my government governs. You do realise referendum in a parliamentary democracy is an oximoron. Emphasis on moron. At no point did parliament hand over power to the people, which they need to do for a one off plebiscite.vote. So seeing as you are such a fan of British democracy you will see this vote as purely advisory. It’s even worded as such on the Westminster web site.
