Nope faults I meant cynicism, as opposed to lunacy orabuse of a broadband router. As a share holder product knowledge helps understand BT Plus is a process option rather than a router, although I do hope BT will include a SIM card in next generation hardware (yes I know they already do this for business)

There is a level of cyanism, which when crossed in not good for you or those around you. Just saying

Broadband fault today, tested from mobile phone 2 minutes chatting to an agent again with online mobile chat 4G hub in post and all mobile phones set to 4G unlimited. Turn on mobile phone hot spot, Apple TV automatically uses it, now have Apple TV, Netflix, BBC iPlayer back, remote home working, alarms, cameras, heating everything back online!!!!!!! AMAZEBALLS!!!! When I ordered this service part of me thought it was a gimmick, but this is so good, with all the negative comments on here sometimes, for me this outweighs all of them. BT should make much more of this service, I would recommend it, so impressed, proud to own shares in this company

I was going to ask if any one was brave enough to forecast results tomorrow. Despite the nervy sp this week I think they will hit their targets, I’m hoping Some of the losses have worked their way through the accounts

Hey Bertram, I kind of understand what you are saying & sometimes I think it too, but it’s quite an irrational rabbit hole to fall down and probably isn’t true. What is a regulator for if not to control the dominant player? Encourage competition and protect the consumer? My main complaint is it’s not as tough on dominant players in tv for example like sky, who seem to trample on all comers, but the answer to that is probably because they earned their commercial advantage commercially and privately

Hi Pacey, no that’s not entirely correct. The private sale came with all kinds of responsibilities. Even without all the sources to available to explain this detail, in simplest terms the national dig inherited by BT gave them a 30 to 60 year head start on any other company trying to compete, this advantage would have prevented any further competition make Bt a monopoly. Also you can’t then claim Bt paid for it and then refer to other companies who pay for Bt network as leaches

It’s not right, BT are the ex monopoly who still dominate U.K. telecoms market. Who inherited all the advantages of a national all encompassing dig paid for with public money. OFCOM. Played no part in the things that have devalued BT. Pension payment holidays, selling cellnet, Italian accounting scandals, fines etc etc

Casshy sell global when BT has just managed to get access to China market ? & pulling out of tv and sports looks like a defeat

If DT begin to sell their 12% stake in BT it will muller the sp for the rest of us for years IMO. The weight is starting to move the “convert to cash” option, the risks are starting to mount I think, B word, some odd geo political goings on in the telecoms world and DT mulling things over

I can’t see DT looking to get involved with a BT deal unless they stop their mobile merger in the states, I don’t think it’s possible to do both financially
