Poundshare - the question is whether BT sport will have a sport calalogue to broadcast. I’m saying that I think they need to. Maybe this report could be another antidote to my scepticism. Right now I think most people won’t upgrade for 5G because 4G does everything most people need. I like the idea of 5G but I have a feeling this might be a case of technology out running appetite ?.....

I hope so Pete, although I fear the other option with Now Tv (sports) coming next year the decision point could be to give BT customer access to sport via this app & let sky take the money. This I think will be pretty silly

Sky and league seem to be very aggressive regarding championship football rights, wondering if this indicates BT have pulled back from sports. also notice BT has not competed for other rights. I think this is a mistake, having started sports coverage it’s important BT make a success of it

Faults that list is so big impossible to start, obviously there is the obvious regulation which makes us safe and prevents 27 other neighbours gaining an unfair advantage.... but the obvious answer that you can’t scoff at is the biggest & richest trading block standing behind us whilst trying to organise a trade deal, not to mention the existing marvellous trade deals we have with the rest of the world through the EU & of course the reduction in our negotiating size already means the WTO will not carry across our EU negotiated WTO arrangements which were very advantageous. So in a word lots of less, in this case influence.

Not really Pete. She has been playing to the moronic crowd with things like “vast sums of money” to the EU perpetuating the lie. The U.K. contributes 0.6% of gdp. Equivalent to someone earning £40,000 per year buying a coffee every morning. If she had taken a slightly more grown up approach I might have some sympathy. But she didn’t and now U.K. is a laughing stock. There’s still people on the telly declaring their their feelings of betrayal.... it’s unbelievable do these people have no shame?

I’ll predict that those people who voted for and lead the charge towards Brexit Will now blame any of everything apart from themselves & this will suddenly become a failure of Mays rather than a failure to see the truth. Absolute madness Pacey. Whilst the U.K. has lost its sovereignty it’s manages to have several wars, couple of invasions and squirmishrs with natives. A UK that’s lost its sovereignty has kept its native currency, and not joined schengen. Devolved government to Scotland, Wales & NI. Set budgets year after year etc etc etc. & still we find ourselves making absolute fools of ourselves because despite all this, idiot Farage tells people we’ve given up our sovereignty. Can you believe it ? I can’t.

Yes I was wondering? It also answers the obvious questions and silly arguments against buying shares for dividends. If you look at buying Bt for dividend you get dividend and gains....... if you sell and buy inbeteeen you get more shares, higher dividend and or increased capitol, doesn’t take rocket scientist does it, especially as this is a BT board. If you bought at a higher price as I’ve done, by buying more at a lower price you get all those things and reduce risk.
