RE: Anyone looking for reassurance / reasons to buy25 Aug 2020 10:24
At the moment AVCT doesn't have many manufacturing partners that I'm aware of. If AVCT can't keep up with UK demand then global demand is neither here nor there really is it.
If the test is the real deal, and assuming it is, how will AVCT keep up with deman?, and how will it sell enough tests to justify the current mcap, let alone a multi-billion mcap that some are proposing?
If the cancer therapy comes good, then of course there is a path to a multi-billion mcap, but that is several years away as far as I can see and by no means a dead cert.
Is there a 80%-100% in this in the short term? Possibly IMO if some things come good, but we must also consider the downside. Downside could be 80% from here if things don't come good IMO. This was a good bet lower down, but I don't see the appeal at these prices. Of course investors will say, "well I'm in from 20p" so I'm not worried, but that's not the point. What will encourage new investors to invest in a company at these prices?
AVCT could become a world leader in covid testing, does that mean it's worth a mcap of more than £1b? Maybe, maybe not.
A lot is already priced in IMO.
