I'm not the one resorting to uncouth insults. People here seem completely incapable of a reasonable discussion. Happy to take on board and consider any genuine counter arguments to my own opinions. If the test comes in at a much lower than expected sensitivity you can always post that video. Should do the SP the power of good. I see lots of people taking the companies lead and priming the market for poor test results in a vain attempt to spin it as good news regardless.

Be realistic. This market often punishes good news never mind shzit news, so if this comes in at any less than what Alastair et al were touting to begin with when he was implying the test could be on the market by now then the market is highly unlikely to be kind

I'll tell you all something for nothing. Comparing this to SNG will do none of you any favours. You're shooting yourselves in the foot. The next RNS here will not send this skyrocketing by 500% even if it's fantastic IMO. The more you build up peoples expectations the more people will become disheartened when it doesn't jump 500% immediately on news. SNG had a low mcap to begin with. It's gone up 500% and it's still barely valued any more than AVCT, which is another reason why it's ridiculous to suggest this stock can do the same from the current level. If the LFT comes to fruition before Christmas and the cancer treatment looks positive from the first trials by the end of 2021 or early 2022 then I could see this being 500%+ from where it is now. A lot would need to go right though and in the meantime your giving people a false sense of hope and optimism by suggesting this will jump 500% in a day.

The silence from Alastair is deafening and I get the sense that when he does finally decide to release news it probably won't be what people want to hear. Of course he'll try to spin it as good news, but this has dragged on far too long now for things to be going to plan. I never understand CEO's who delay news they know won't be received well. It only frustrates investors even more. After watching what SNG did today a less than ideal RNS will sting even more for a lot of people here IMO.

Alastair made some bold statements prior to the shzithouse placing. Anyone who suggests that those statements are being lived up to right now is frankly living on another planet. Months waiting for decent news on all the covid related plays and still nothing. The only meaningful news since the placing was about AVCT playing a "meaningful role" in collaborative turd fondling. People here are long overdue an update now.

As it happens I held a decent amount here a few months ago, but sold almost all my shares at a small profit in the end when I started to realise what was going on. I have a small token holding here still left but it's neither here nor there at this point.

I post here because I've followed this stock closely and I'm irritated by all the ramping that goes on alongside the unwavering loyalty to AS. People here seem to want to suck in people who don't know better.

The most likely timeline I laid out where I said the "few weeks" comment by AS would turn to "shzit" turned out to be correct. I also stated that the test wouldn't likely go to trial until late July/early August at the earliest. I was shouted down for that. I stated October/November would be the most likely time the test would be to market IMO and I was also shouted down for that.

Everyone hurls insults but nobody ever actually points out the flaws in my logic and proves me wrong.

Well given the disappointment this has turned into a lot will be running for the door on any meaningful rise, so you won't be alone I don't think.

See SNG's SP has gone from 35p to more than what AVCT's did after the long slow crawl up to 215p. People aren't tentative piling into SNG because they can see value based on facts. Here it was always mostly hype.

Everyone knew news was due by the end of July on the trial so it was a bargain compared to this. No idea when news will arrive here.

Still seeing people suggesting this will do an SNG on news. Seriously? SNG has done 500% and it's still a fairly low mcap compared to this. IMO this will struggle to do more than 100% on the best news possible in the near future. If, and it's a big if, we get news that the LFT is about to go on the market and that it has all the approvals, then maybe 200p will be hit again, which is around a 50% gain from here. That seems reasonable IMO.

All this talk of a company already trading at a crazy price going up 500% is pure fantasy though IMO. People here do themselves no favours comparing this to SNG to try and suck people in.

SNG has released game changing news today I agree. AVCT on the other hand has yet to release any news. As far as I'm aware the LFT isn't even in trial proper yet.

Put the pieces together. An unusually long optimization period plus that blatant tweet from AVCT referring to an article saying "Don't worry, test sensitivity doesn't matter" or words to that effect tells you everything you need to know.

After all the hype and expectations that have been conjured up by this company, anything other than extraordinary news will not be taken well from the current level IMO.

I totally agree mortgage, Alastair loves to implement the old "in a few weeks" chestnut. "In a few weeks" is a huge red flag on AIM stocks usually. It's the AIM equivalent of horse racing tipsters who use terms like "dead cert" and "Nailed on".

This won't be doing 300%-400% in one day any time soon IMO. People ramping that should feel ashamed. The mcap is already way above what the company is actually worth. Not to mention AVCT were tweeting the other day essentially priming investors for what could be a less than expected sensitivity on the test. They're taking way too long and those tweets the other day spoke volumes IMO.

SNG have actually made a huge step forward in no time at all. They completed a placing and delivered. AVCT have promised so much and delivered nothing except a mega placing with nothing to back it up.

..........When SNG is moving there therapeutic product ahead quicker than AVCT can deliver on a simple diagnostic test it tells you all you need to know.

As I said, there will be lots of private companies doing similar work in the background who could easily beat AVCT to market. AVCT is taking far too long with this now and it's concerning IMO.

............Looks like I called the potential timeline for a vaccine spot on. I stress this because everyone piled in when I made a perfectly reasonable suggestion that a vaccine could be available by September/October prior to AVCT even getting their test to market. We all know about how people will still need to be tested yadayada, but that's not the point. The point is that the big money here could have been made in mid-summer. As all these other companies start offering solutions AVCT's market share gets exceedingly smaller.

................I feel the moment of truth will be in how this compares to SONA's test. Given SONA are currently a long way ahead of AVCT, the AVCT I would say needs to be more accurate that SONA's test, if not the market will not react well IMO. Most people on this board were ramping that the test would be more accurate by a mile. It may well be, but I sense we'll find out soon enough.
