Well delivering on promises and delivering a test that is up to the standard being touted prior to the mega placing would be a good way to deliver on both. Not sure you can do one without the other to be honest. Again, it's the SP and profits that count above everything else.

I don't care about the science, I care about the SP and how the market will react. If I cared about the science I'd be a scientist and not an investor.

That being said. I understand the science perfectly.

All you rampers are essentially saying that if the test comes in with a lower than anticipated sensitivity, the market won't be bothered and this stock will go up regardless. We'll see, but no doubt if it does go down you'll all be saying people are stupid and can't read an RNS properly. Whine as much as you like, it's the SP that matters and how investors are treated is what counts, everything else is secondary to that. FULL STOP.

Definitely not trying to twist anything. All-round test accuracy is important full stop. Most people on Twitter appear to agree with me anyway.

Who's twisting that Tweet? They posted a Tweet stating sensitivity was secondary. Why did they feel the need to post it?

Judging by the comments beneath the tweet, most agree with me, that it was a strange thing to post.

We all know lower sensitivity means more testing to get an accurate result (Not an attractive or economic prospect to potential buyers IMO), but why did AVCT tweet that headline is the question. You can't tell me that wasn't a weird thing to post. Lower sensitivity doesn't make a test more attractive whichever way you spin it.

IMO AVCT has made two very strange Twitter posts today. The first one was an obvious ramp IMO, and the second an attempt to play down sensitivity as secondary IMO.

Does anyone else genuinely disagree with that?

....................Last post on Twitter was absolutely chronic from AVCT. Stating that the test sensitivity in neither here nor there. No wonder there spending so long optimising and diverting attention away from the test with other nonsense. Essentially given themselves a speeding ticket with that post so the market is prepared for whatever disappointing results they are about to release IMO. Make no mistake. Sensitivity is everything.

This development only goes to prove the point I was making earlier. Big strides are obviously being made by other companies that aren't being telegraphed. Obviously Alastair had to Telegraph everything to get the placing away. As Doc Holliday mentioned on Twitter a while back. Private companies can develop projects more quickly than PLC's.

I'm guessing once this news spreads, the result of todays dubious ramp by AVCT on Twitter will be undone again.

..............Just seen a new article stating 3M and MIT are developing a rapid care test. As I mentioned earlier the competition is moving in fast. As MIT is involved the tests will likely be partially a government venture similar to ODX, which means they could be selling the tests cheaply IMO.

Of course my position changed. Made no secret of the fact I was bullish initially. We had the dodgy Mr Boohoo deal and placing after that. In fact if you look closely you'll see the exact moment my position changed. It was that rotten deal with Medusa and the placing Alastair said WOULD DEFINITELY NOT HAPPEN. Red flags galore from May onwards and I stated my position.

Never said covid wouldn't be around for a long time. I just stated the FACT that every day the test isn't on the market, the revenue projections touted by Myles become more and more unrealistic as other companies gobble up contracts and offer similar and/or other solutions. No doubt there will be private companies working on tests similar to this quietly behind the scenes that we haven't even heard of yet but will when they're on the market over the coming weeks and months. Companies like this have to make noise to get the SP up to have mega placings though unfortunately.

As far as news on other fronts goes Alastair barely seems to mention it any more, other than to say "things are progressing", which means nothing. If there is meaningful news that one of the projects is going to generate revenue now for a change then it could spike the price from here temporarily of course, but if it's another RNS like yesterday suggesting he's more interested in fondling turds, then I don't think the market will be impressed.

The second wave will begin before that, and governments will want contracts long before that in place as they prepare. It will be too late to make the mega bucks projected by Myles et al by then.

..................Assuming all goes well, can anyone here really see this test being on the market before October? I certainly can't. If the wider market comes to appreciate that, this will be heading well under 100p IMO.

Once the trials actually start proper you'll be looking at a few months minimum IMO before the results are back. Most likely time this hits the market will be between mid-October to late November IMO. if all goes well.

To justify the market cap it needed to be on the market mid summer as they always imlied. Feels like early Autumn may end up being missed to at the current rate. Four months behind the late July date that some were throwing around given the mid-summer date Alastair mentioned originally I guess is a massive delay to original expectations. The period between now and October would be the most profitable to any company getting their test to market. After that the potential tails off dramatically IMO as other therapeutics are released and more diagnostics companies enter the space.

The point being, the billions mcap that Myles et al suggested is growing increasingly unrealistic with each day that goes by. If you have to rely on the cancer treatment well that's a cop out for making a shzitty investment choice because that is many years away.

...........Today's tweet by the company seemed a bit desperate to me. Tell me this, how often when a company pulls a stunt like that does it translate to a good RNS thereafter? Hardly ever. News is obviously still an age away and they know it, so they decided to tweet what they did to prop the price up IMO. If there's no RNS over the next few days, where will the SP be again?

So yesterday, we had an RNS telling the market they're playing with sewage of all things. That was another useless bit of news. Now today a random tweet about testing that they know mug punters will read more into.

...............Looks like the timeline I suggested is spot on up to now compared to the krap people were ramping on here. I also said what would happen to the SP when reality hit home.

Long time before they're out. Assuming the company doesn't take more money off them, then the £2m will take a long time to work through at this volume. Taken almost 6 months to work through around 680k. Only around one third of of the way through and at the current hopeless volumes you would think it would be even more difficult. At the current rate you're looking at around another 12 months minimum before this £2m is worked through I guess. Somewhere between July to October 2021 IMO.
