I suspect they're probably working on reducing specificity in an attempt to eek out a percentage point or two in favour of sensitivity. I think it's becoming increasingly apparent that the test won't be what they claimed it would before the placing though IMO.

At the moment CONDOR is focused on the BAMS test, but indeed the RNS implied they would also be looking at the LFT. The question is, what is the specific standard CONDOR demand before they'll consider a test?

Instead of telling me what to do, why not explain why you disagree with me. Then we can have a reasonable discussion.

I'm also very suspicious about McNulty. I could be wrong about him, but the way he tweeted incessantly about AVCT and the LFT prior to the placing was something to behold. Then in the weeks leading up to the mega placing he went absolutely silent. More recently he's shifted his focus away from the LFT to the BAMS test. He says he's more excited about the BAMS test than anything else now. Strange why you'd be more excited about something that's worth considerably less to the company than the LFT.

............I think it's fairly obvious that the reason the company still hasn't told the market what's going on with this test is because it's not up to the sensitivity they expected it would be IMO.

Think about, the lame tweet about low sensitivity not being an issue coupled with a general lack of obvious progress in line with expectations .

Here's my theory having been around in the AIM market for long enough.

If the test was as sensitive as first touted they'd be screaming it from the rooftops right now. The lack of information and detail on the development thus far speaks volumes. My theory is they know what the reaction would be if they came clean about the data they've got on the test up to now, so instead they're going to try and get it validated then come back to everyone once it's about to go on the market. That way they can soften the blow that the test will not be suitable for mass screening because of it's low sensitivity. Essentially they're saving the bad news for when they have actually achieved something vaguely good IMO. I could be wrong, but what's everyone else's take?

Alastair created the expectations prior to the placing. I'm guessing that's what he means. It's as if people have re-written history since the placing and everything said before it forgotten pertaining to the ease at which the test would be developed and on the market, not to mention it being deadly accurate etc.

I agree, the prototype design and optimisation period has dragged on far too long IMO. Everyone sugar coating the tweet from AVCT citing an article literally stating sensitivity doesn't matter. Too many red flags IMO.

There's no way on earth in my mind that AVCT would have posted that tweet if this test was as sensitive as Alastair had suggested it would be IMO.

Fasciniting how raising serious points and making serious observations is considered pointless, and yet 80% of the posts on here comprising things like "to the moon", "boom", "£2 by the close today" and "this is doing a SNG, next month" are considered of value. Very interesting outlook you have.

The only questions I don't respond to are personal ones unrelated to the company. If I answered every time someone asked why I was here or why I don't just f off I spent all my time talking about myself. These boards are to talk about stocks and ask questions, not explain the ins and outs of ones personal life.

They said they were making great progress towards finding a partner in big pharma to advance the neutralising therapy. That was months ago and they made it sound like that was days away. What happened to that? Instead the only collaboration they've announced since the mega placing is the turd fondling nonsense with a farting AIM minnow.

Evidently very little is on course relative to what they were presenting to investors in May before the mega placing IMO.

As I've stressed numerous times, the company is obviously way behind on it's original timescale and not coming clean fully with investors IMO. Instead, the company is choosing to release vague statements in a poor attempt to keep the mugs on the hook IMO.

We should have heard a month ago about numbers, figures, contracts, manufacturing deals, clinical trial data. Where is all the info. Instead they release another rambling RNS, which I told you they would. "We're doing stuff and we're very excited", "We're very pleased with the progress", yeah great that. I imagine Alastair is the only person pleased with the progress right now, because most people who aren't drawing an obscene wage from the company who are instead watching their investment stagnate won't be. Unless of course they're a bb moron.

I don't think the ranges you suggested are out of the question. There is some decent support around 110p and 100p. Everything above 110p is jelly ready to collapse back on anything less than phenomenal news.

I think most people if they're honest with themselves knew what today was going to turn out like. If they'd have taken note of me and what they themselves knew to be quite evident they could have sold at 150p+ and bought back in a lot lower if they so wished. What stops people from acting rationally and doing what is best for them? The answer is quite simple. Listening to ramping lunatics on here to try and support, not their belief, but rather their desire that the SP will go up when they want it to. The rampers bring them a sense of support that they've made the right choice in letting their profits dwindle to nothing.

Groups like this need balance and people asking real questions. Then and only then will the BB morons get the help they obviously need.

I agree that the only real opportunity is the rapid saliva test here. Everything else put together I doubt can generate anywhere near enough revenue to help justify the current mcap here.

The therapeutic offering is interesting but total pie in the sky IMO. Doesn't look like they've managed to partner with any major pharma companies still so that looks like a non-starter now IMO.

The LFD is the only play that can justify the current mcap and it needs to be good and on the market ASAP IMO.

.........Reading through the posts here this morning seeing the usual rampers trying to spin another RNS which quite obviously suggests more dither and delay in the future really does make the mind boggle.

Sick of people suggesting I'm a deramper for pointing out the obvious. I'm not so stupid as to think my opinion could effect the SP of a company with a £300m mcap.

Instead of blaming people like myself for calling this correctly and hitting the nail on the head week after week every time the price goes down, why not blame Alastair and the company instead for not delivering according to the timelines they were pushing before the mega placing. Also, why not look yourselves in the mirror and wonder how you get sucked in time after time.

As I've been saying, it's quite obvious the rapid saliva test has been delayed IMO. If news was days or weeks away they wouldn't have even mentioned it today in that RNS. Another shzitty "stuffs happening" RNS. As I've said, if you make the market wait, you better release monumental news when you do release something. I don't think today's RNS will be taken well.

I'm also quite alarmed to see the SP rise so much into the close yesterday and a RNS drop today. This company is a very leaky ship IMO as evidenced by the huge drop from 215p prior to the placing when all the insiders were trading it to death.

I keep trying to explain it's important to be one of the first to market RTB, but nobody here listens. AVCT has quite simply dithered and delayed for far too long now IMO. While AVCT have wasted time waiting for Cytiva to produce a test that vaguely lives up to the standards Alastair was busy pushing before the gargantuan placing, other companies are moving in and producing similar tests that are potentially just as good if not better. The signs are there IMO. He shifted attention away from the LFT the minute the placing was done and dusted, and all his previous claims in interviews prior to the placing forgotten. Perhaps he's hoping everyone will forget if he waits long enough, who knows?

I'll tell you why most people don't have me filtered on here Chengdo. It's because a considerable number of people, even among those who insult me can actually see I make valid points and don't wish to deprive themselves of intellectual discussion, even if they prefer not to admit it.

Another reason why the filter doesn't work is because most people on here are shameless rampers. On the one hand they don't want to consider the truth so filter me, only to unfilter me again to see what I've said just in case one of my reasonable posts catches the ear of one of their potential victims. Rampers can't help themselves.
