After the drop due to CV19, there are plenty of stocks that appear to be a strong buy. Some of these did not feel the need to cut their dividend either in response to the virus or simply because of government pressure.
When AV. reduced its dividend for no obvious commercial reason I took losses and reduced my holding by 80%, using the funds to diversify and also do a bit of trading. For the time being I will keep the remaining 20% since I like variety in my portfolio but I can't see why it is an exceptionally strong buy, especially when the management seem so weak and have so little regard for the company's shareholders.
And I just received my substantial dividend from MNG, a reminder of what I should have been paid by Aviva.
