Also, you are completely wrong about the carbon emissions and environmental impact of producing here in the UK and compared to somewhere abroad where they aren't held to the same high standards we are. Hence why they can and do make it cheaper then sell it to us at a inflated cost because weve choked off our own supply relying on globalisation

Shine on you their are ample resources in the north Sea and new discoveries all the time. Just look at the clare rough field off the coast of Scotland as a example.

Not only that but big oil companies take all the easy to get stuff then just pack up and move on leaving absolutely enormous quantities still in the ground but just slightly harder to get at. Newer technologies and smaller companies can and do extract from these types of wells all over the world and in a very economical way. Anyone trying to talk down the north Sea either doesnt understand it or is deliberately trying to overinflate the necessity to move to hydrogen in a hurry.

The next government will drill baby drill for sure. And even the current labour government may do as pressure on them mounts

Drilling the north sea and refining here in the UK is absolutely better for the environment as not only do we have extremely stringent environmental standards unlike other parts of the word but then you dont have all the emissions from transporting it from say the SOH to the UK.

It lowers the costs, of course it does. Not directly as we pay whatever the market price is but what affects market price?

Supply and demand as weve seen recently with SOH. It being shut has created a supply shock and so prices rose. Soon as their are talks of it opening, prices fall.

Daz, getting our oil from abroad is not green, infact its worse for the environment as we have to ship it.

Also, oil as a commodity is priced globally and that price is determined by supply vs demand. If the UK fully opens the North Sea, supply increases....

So what happens to energy bills?

And its better for the environment

And it gives energy security

And it provides jobs which grow the economy

And it brings more tax into HMRC.

Its a no brainer for the immediate future

But remember that precision warheads are already proven warheads they are, already known and understood. They do work. Plus their is what now 4 yrs or more of data proving FAP targeting works in humans and now exceptional pre clinical data really exceptional for generation 2.

It could mean actually that a takeover is not as far away as people think. Also remember that precision is threatening almost all big farmer current revenue streams and they face enormous patent cliffs over next few years.

Put it this way, I wouldn't be actually to surprised if a offer came. Unprecedented circumstances and technology could lead to something Unprecedented i.e. 'early' offer or multiple enormous offers next year.

I think and hope it will be next year but it could definitely happen any time.

And we have enormous untapped potential in the north sea and even the southern north sea yet crazy ed won't allow any new licences. There are also plenty of old wells which can be utilised now with more advanced extraction technology. They are ripe for the taking but nope! Not the basket case uk.

We would rather plaster our countryside in solar panels, taking up valuable farmland and then we risk food scarcity at a time when globalisation is crumbling and the best if it is.... its barely ever sunny!

The future is hydrogen 100%. This is the way to go but right now we dont have the tech or infrastructure ready. H power may have the tech at a disruptive price point this is why I like them but their not ready for mass production etc yet, not even CE marked and we just dont have the infrastructure in place to handle ammonia and hydrogen.

Their was supposed to be a mandate to put 10% h2 into natural gas by 2030 and that keeps getting delayed. Hydrogen is always tomorrow technology.

For me. We should abandon the windfarms and solar, aggressively ramp up and subsidise hydrogen but in the meantime use our own natural fossil fuels.

For crying out loud were sat on enormous coal resources as well but it all got shutdown. The UK is in total industrial decline and were about to pay a huge price for it. And infact we already are doing in terms of energy costs as it is but I fear things will get much worse before long

I think the war with Iran does prove that long term we need a sustainable homegrown energy source. Right now i think their is mounting pressure to open the north sea for business. The war with Iran shows just how much we are STILL depending on fossil fuels. Theyre ready today, we have the skills and infrastructure today.

A simple fact that gets lost in talk of capping group and linker and FAP and XDC etc is that with avacta, we already know the warheads work.

Just prove the delivery system and you've cracked it. AVA6000 the pathfinder proven beyond doubt to work. Doxorubicin works. Its a multi-billion pound company off the back of that.

If the gen2 version with capping group and linker works in human and because they will be used on the remainder of the pipeline, you can put 1 or 2 zeros on the end of the valuation derived from the pathfinder without even flinching.

Looking forward to seeing how far they have progressed 6103 in-vivo at AACR and subsequent science day.

As for fast track or breakthrough I also summoned that avacta have applied and we will hear about it right before ASCO but it could come any time before that to be fair
