If it’s commercial it’s great news and if not it’s bad news, thats my view. I don’t know the chance of success but you should definitely at least consider the possibility in my view. And if you’re one of the posters who has been bragging about 2 producing wells you should acknowledge your own disappointment IF that is happens to be non commercial.

But pro quo you still haven’t acknowledged you spread fake news about the agreement being with the Mongolians for sign off so we know you have a troubled relationship with the truth whilst parading around on a high horse.

I do exactly that and discuss H2. Have a relatively polite exchange with Thorn, who claims it’s been deliberately chosen as it’s on the periphery. I asked him to show me where that was stated as it was interesting. He stopped replying and even when I showed him he was wrong he doubled down.

Then Tenbag arrived misquoting me and making it personal with no comments at all on the fake news Thorn was spreading.

Nobody corrected either, nor the poster claiming it would be online within days.

Liars or just stupid - not sure which is better but it explains why the Telegram positives are so underwater and scared to discuss things :)

Was it deliberate or just mis informed - doesn’t really matter you made false claims either way and showed no humility when upskilled.

By all means leave it there if you don’t want to discuss Heron2. If anyone else can direct me the statements that we’ve deliberately picked a location on the periphery I’d be genuinely grateful. It’s an important point to me.

The company should explain this if it’s the case so investors can make an informed decision. Although I think they said the opposite - the goal was in fact to get a producing well.

Hmm that’s a generous interpretation but you’re entitled to it and I appreciate the answer. The market won’t want the 2nd well to be non commercial, of that im sure!

@dozz Inaccurate posting should indeed be challenged. That applies to inaccurate posts that are seemingly positive, eg the person who just claimed we could have 2 producing wells in a matter of days. They received several likes despite that being factually wrong. Perhaps they were genuinely unaware or perhaps they were trying to ramp, who knows. I try to just play the ball not the man.

Some things aren’t matters of fact but open to interpretation, eg will there be a raise before 6 producing wells, what an RNS said / meant.

I like to hear other views, hence asking others if they thought an RNS announcing a permanent deal would be a positive catalyst. Ive not had an answer but we move on. I suspect the next debate would be IF Heron2 isn’t commercial, whether that’s positive or negative. Some people can’t hear a word against their own book so will find a positive in anything

And for the avoidance of doubt I definitely thought this weeks RNS was positive, even if the market didn’t seem that bothered

Personally whenever I’m invested I love to hear the bearish perspective as it keeps me focussed on risk. Unfortunately I realise that doesn’t land well and usually leads to people attacking motives etc. Most people prefer an echo chamber.

An AIMs CEO role is pretty much to focus on the positives and RNSs are drafted that way. A bad drill result for example will usually spin some positive about what’s been learnt and future potential etc (look back here for evidence of that). Similarly they’ll rarely say yes a raise is coming because it’s counter productive, they’ll use a form of words that isn’t inaccurate like “we have no current need or plans to raise we’re funded to complete out operations”. But then raise and say yes we were funded but we wanted a safety net etc.

But the main point is we should all be open to other views because it’s rare any of us is right all of the time.

If Heron 2 isn’t commercial I suspect we’ll get lots of excuses and reasons why it’s actually good news. I hope it’s commercial and it sounded encouraging but if it’s not I’ll be honest and grown up about it.

I think saying 2 producing wells in days is wrong or misleading. They aren’t scheduled to complete the testing till early November, after which construction would need to start which seems a 2-3 week job. So at best it could be on with several weeks, realistically a month ish.

Yes let’s leave it - obviously I logged on to a series of posts about me, mainly inaccurate but my position is clear, if not well received.

Tomorrows RNS seems nailed on, so we might even hear more about now receiving revenues but I suspect it’ll just confirm the production and the ceremony. Heron 2 is now due a yday which is one of MY other 2 required post I’ve catalysts. I think you referenced H2 being on a periphery of our field - can you recall where that was communicated as I’d like to read about that.

Can we agree it’s bad news if it’s not commercial and great news if it is? That’s how I see it.

Just had a scroll back through and spotted you were very vocal and angry at people saying there might be a raise just before there was a raise.

You’d be better leaving the discussion to the grown ups mate if you can’t tolerate views other than your own. You said they were being negative too so you have a pattern of posting that’s consistent - poor in accuracy and tone.

I’ve drawn a line under it lads. My discussion about what an RNS says / means is about the fundamentals - posts telling me to shut up because your right are less helpful.

So I wonder what break even costs are as that’s alot of expenditure on top of the usual corporate overheads. I might look up both today and offset them against that single producing well.

Well I stand by my opinion about what the RNS said and didn’t say. I dont think it said we will export or sell anything, in fact it said they haven’t agreed a deal. If it’s wrong so be it.

I’ve got no problem with other people thinking it confirmed we’ll be selling by not using that word and they choose to “imply” such transformative news. Those people presumably think a further RNS confirming there is in fact a deal to sell won’t make any difference to the SP, whereas I think it will.

If anyone want to discuss that let me know but probably more conducive to agree to disagree than go round in circles. Just like we did when I suggested a well cost $4m to bring to to production and it triggered a few. Or when in early September Telegram insisted an actual deal was about to happen. We all win some and lose some lads

I’m still intrigued why they can’t agree, drafted, ratify and sign a deal that was being finalised in July but I recognise there’s no desire to discuss that either.

Rest assured, I won’t be emailing the company asking them if the RNS stating a deal to sell wasn’t agreed, drafted, ratified or signed actually meant the opposite.

Rumbled by the lads on Telegrsm who kicked off when I said deal with PC didn’t sound close? The same ones who said they regretted not buying more under 3p in early September only to see it crash!

I won’t be selling at the moment. I expect a mini spike on the Friday RNS and definitely one when the RNS confirming a deal to sell oil is announced. The one you think has already been announced :)
