Exactly - hence unsure why 7days was quoted and why we’d expect this news next.

My posting history is clear for all to see. I’ve said we need to produce, have a deal to sell and have Heron 2 confirmed as commercial to really get moving.

2 of the 3 will probs be enough for me to get my money back.

The reporting make it sound like Osun was claiming different contraventions and amounts in quite a scattergun way, which sounds promising from one point of view because I can imagine they’ll have forensic submissions.

The deal wasn’t with the Mongolians and isn’t even agreed or written up yet.

When we actually sell something it’ll be a positive catalyst. To do that we need a deal. As I’ve said I think it’ll come but it won’t be this week and there’s something troubling about the failure to complete a deal.

When it does come, you’ll all rightly celebrate it like you’ve won the cup final. So why lie to yourself that the absence of a deal means nothing. You can’t have it both ways.

The market agrees with me it seems, even if the long termers who have lost a fortune here don’t.

It’s not in black and white, they literally said the agreement isn’t finalised. I’ve said all along I found it odd, I said a deal wasn’t close and that’s been proven. Man Utd on telegram disagreed it wouldn’t be in place by early October. He was wrong. I’m sure it’s not knocked his self confidence though

Do I think they will sell it for us, yes. Do I have some reservations about why they can’t get a deal signed having been told it was being finalised in July - absolutely.

That’s the part I don’t understand / agree with.

There is no deal for them to transport and sell and it’s not close to being signed. I called this concern / scenario out weeks ago as you said.

And if you were in Telegram when I was I called it out early September as I could tell from the wording it wasn’t close. Obviously that was roundly attacked.

When the things you expect to happen don’t, doesn’t your outlook change? Or does blind faith guide you?

That’s interesting thanks for sharing. Makes me more nervous (as a short termer) if they’ve picked a higher risk one to learn more about the field. I understand the logic but as I say given the cash flow and need to get some production up and running that does seem dubious to me. But maybe that’s just me talking my own book in the sense I’d rather it’s commercial and future wells are used to do the informing.

Yep and here we are with no deal despite production. So was I right or wrong to express those doubts? The doubts were correct, so presumably it’s just sharing them in your playground you object to.

If you don’t want to talk about Heron2 no worries, I guess you’re busy enough patrolling the board trying to quash any constructive discussions.

But leave off the investment advice, you must be absolutely miles down here so not well placed to dish out tips.

I’m nervous about Heron2 being commercial to be honest. I’m not informed enough to know about the likelihood but for it to be a catalyst it must also be a risk. Given results are due and the SP is struggling despite the production news, it’s a bit unsettling.

No Hamn, I don’t think the company can take action to prevent people selling just because it’s keeping you underwater.

If the Osun result for us anything other than awful then this price is going to look crazy. If we’re being fair and honest it’s a cloud hanging over us, whatever our assessment of the merits and likelihood of the Osun claim.

I’ve been a little underwhelmed by the drilling results and narrative. Good results would be released by RNS and we’ve not had much from either area. We don’t really know what the plan is at Segilola, or even what’s left and at what projected AISC. Given how positive I believe these metrics to be, it would be good to talk it up to its correct level.

Q4 we do know what’s forecast and it’s incredible compared to the MCAP!

Yeah we need to know what can and is being produced to understand the short - medium term plan. I do agree there’s more chance of drilling costs being offset when there’s evidence of the wells producing efficiently though. But finding an other 4 whilst also covering the general corporate overheads seems hugely ambitious imo.

It’s only an opinion and time will tell - if oil did indeed goto $300 then my opinion would change!

I think there will be a raise before there are 6 producing drills. It’s an opinion, it might be wrong.

This is surely the place to give such opinions? Unless you can’t handle the debate and discussion of course
