You claimed the RNS confirms a short term deal to sell oil and produce revenue. Except you can only share an RNS that explains there’s no deal that has been agreed, drafted, ratified or signed as evidence.

Nowhere does RNS say we’ll export anything btw. So it’s another strawman argument.

I also agree it’s not that significant. However, I think (hope) the announcement of a deal to sell oil and create revenue will be a positive catalyst. Those of you who think that’s already been confirmed should be less positive than me.

The RNS doesn’t even say we’re excepting. Those activities continue during the winter. I’d SPECULATE that was inserted to clarify some of the questions around whether everything stopped over winter.

Adw doesnt believe anything of the sort, and hasn’t said that. I don’t think we will export or sell anything without a deal and nor do I think the RNS says that.

What do you all think “in advance” means?

I thought it meant “in advance” of a deal?

It doesn’t. So we’re both entitled to interpret. You take it to mean they’re going to sell it for us.

I take it to mean it’s important to get production going before the winter lockdown because the other activities such as exporting can continue thru winter. It what MB said in a presentation too too I think.

No deal to sell = no no revenue imo.

As I said it’s something of an aside because I’m not using it as a negative I think when we do have a deal to sell it’ll be a positive catalyst. Others are entitled to think we already have such a deal and no positive catalyst is coming.

Why would an RNS specifically exclude the one key word of SELL. It doesn’t even say we’ll export does it?

But you’re the guy who told us the deal is written up and awaiting approval. Which was confirmed as completely wide of the mark. Not that you acknowledged that, let alone apologised to the board for the lies

The question WAS do you think an RNS confirming we have a deal to sell will be a positive. You refused to answer and then claimed we already have such a deal. And the SP is 2.40!

We won’t receive any revenue until the deal to sell oil (the one the RNS stated hadn’t been yet agreed, drafted, approved or signed) imo. I’d love to be wrong tho.

I do agree we’ll produce this week though, which is excellent news.

It’s blindingly obvious who holds the aces in the negotiations with PC isn’t it. Shouldn’t even be a point of debate but here we are pretending they need us more than we need the route to market and revenue they given us. And I’ve grasped that after only 6ish weeks.

Yes quite possible something else is going on behind the scenes. I’ve said that all along and speculated it might be someone wanting to see the deal at H2 before agreeing something bigger. That would make sense imo and explain the rather odd excuses we’re hearing for why there’s no sales deal yet.

I hope that’s the case, so long as it’s not too far away.
