Yes you’re right - it does quote the Cooperation agreement covering that. But that’s the Agreement that is being negotiated and isn’t complete yet. I was referencing the existing agreement (perhaps more accurately referenced as the MOU about general cooperation).

It’s certainly possible that they’ve agreed to sell using the fees that seemingly have been agreed in principle in the unsigned agreement (aside from admin fee that hasn’t been agreed) but it sounds odd to me, especially given they excluded the word sell / revenue later on. But it’s odd to send them fluid without a contract full stop so it’s down to interpretation and judgment. I think both our views are within a range of reasonable.

My understanding was there is an existing cooperation agreement. I didn’t think that covered sales, hence there being a seperate more specific agreement being negotiated. That’s not agreed yet, but seemingly the costs are broadly as expected aside from an administration fee which I have no idea about. So I don’t know what agreement would cover the commercial sells in the absence of the deal being complete. The company themselves have repeatedly said they want a deal so I don’t think the cooperation deal covers it

It would be very odd the company didn’t highlight a deal to sell and quote revenue but you could be right. We can definitely agree to disagree.

We aren’t exporting or selling to a buyer. That’s never been the plan. PC were doing that using their existing route to market and customers on our behalf “cutting a cheque” based on how much of their sales contained our oil.

So nowhere has anyone ever said we planned to export our own oil, let alone confirmed that’s happening. But you think we’re making £5m - £10m this winter doing exactly that don’t you. I hope you’re right mate but there’s more chance of you explaining where the dividend comes from than that.

Why oh why no sensible bulls call this out is beyond me.

@rich I think we will sell shortlyish as a deal will happen at some point. My belief is there is no such deal at the moment. Hence no mention in either announcement this week about sales or revenue, other than the extract saying the deal to sell had NOT been drafted yet.

I might be wrong though, I’ve said I don’t think it’s a huge issue either way.

Why do you think no mention was made of us now being a revenue generating company or that we have a deal to sell in the interim?

It’s an interesting topic as to whether MB is being straight. I’m not really blaming him personally, although I do think something is going on we’re not being told about (it’s AIM what do we expect)

Obviously my view is we have no deal to sell oil. If that’s wrong (and I fully accept it might be) the alternative is we do have a deal and in 2 announcements this week he’s failed to say we have a deal to sell and failed to herald us now generating revenue. Surely whichever view you hold, we should all find that very strange?

Especially those who think we’re generating £5m - £10m this winter but the CEO thought best to keep quiet.

Another one who lacks the humility to reflect when it’s highlighted the investment isn’t what they thought. You claimed each new well costs between $1m - $1.5m. You were then shown explicit statements from the company saying it’s $4m to bring a well onto production.

As I say nothing wrong with be wrong but how can that not change your analysis of the prospects?

I agree Master becoming questioning was also noticeable. And that’s intended as a compliment not a dig. Anyone who predicting 10p on production like Hamm did a couple of weeks ago (“Make no mistakes we get to double figure when we get H1,2 production confirmed”) yet still trotting out his advice to hold and buy more is kidding themselves.

No, I don’t think we’ll export anything. We’ll send our fluids to PC. When a deal is done they’ll export and sell it for us.If it’s wrong and they’ll export and sell it without a written deal that’s fine. The RNS didn’t say that, no mention of sales or revenue - the word export was in the context of those activities being able to continue over winter.

But we’ve done it to death, just leave it - I’ll only reply if you misquote me.

I can answer Tenbag.

I bought last month in anticipation of all the news flow. Lots expected it to move based on standard news like spud confirmation. Obviously that didn’t happen and nor did great news like the permit resolution and production confirmation. Gobi was at best underwhelming but H2 encouraging so no identifiable reason why we’re lower than last month. Last few hopes for me are H1 flow results and H2 test results. Those both come with risk so for me it’s whether I bail on a loss or hold for potentially bigger loss - but with the chance of a big move up.

That’s where I am. Those who have been here years and found the promised land isn’t what they were expecting and are left touting dividends are entitled to see things differently. Anyone here for a 2025 dividend however isn’t a sensible investor / to be trusted.

But perhaps you could outline the income / expenditure that would allow for a dividend in 2025? Based on a single producing well with no details on what it produces, the costs or the sales details?
