They / them have now completely ruined an already awful Chat room. Imagine being tempted by this company, scanning the message board and seeing 300+ posts of drivel. Zero value, zero chat of the short term pros and cons. I can’t wait to get the hell out of here, although I’m wondering what the remain catalysts are in the immediate term given the PC deal appears elusive.

Heron 2 result perhaps, but drilling results can go either way. Probably the next big news tho so fingers crossed we get some traction - and an exit strategy in my case.

I suppose failing that we’ve got the $300 oil we keep reading about :)

production is definitely positive but even then only achieving what was already promised to happen this month.

Thanks for the reply, nice to have a sensible exchange. I agree there’s perhaps something else going on, which at best might be a JV / takeover.

I just disagree a bit about the deal being 99.9% done as it doesn’t sound that way. We’ll have oil but no transport and no buyer so they definitely have the strength at the negotiating table. Where else can we go?!

Those 2 buys at 2.60 were lovely to see. Hopefully the momentum builds all week ahead of the ceremony.

Surely they can impose any terms they want to transport and sell our oil. There’s definitely something more at play on this point imo, the RNS details over the last few months have all been about kicking the can down the road.

Production is great but we need to square the circle and actually sell it. Surprised nobody seems interested in what happens on this front.

All fees are agreed apart from the fee that isn’t. Funny stuff really.

Sentiment appears to be flying so hopefully we make a decent mov, but it doesn’t read to me like actual revenue will be achieved yet because of continued farce around the deal. Still not agreed the numbers and absurdly won’t be signing imminently. There’s more to this than were being told in my opinion and I wonder if they’re waiting for H2 results.

Hopefully the sentiment drives it but we’ll need more than this to get over 3p imo.

Asking (sensible) peoples views on whether we have a deal to transport and sell oil shouldn’t be considered “semantics”. Anyone invested should be interested in whether this deal is in place and it will definitely impact the SP if it is / isn’t.

The more worried you people get about the discussion the more you turn the grown ups off.

I’m not sure whether we should expect one and equally unsure if I want one or not - a steady rise pre the announcement might be better, but mindful good news is good news and probably worth banking.

I am little surprised there’s been a few post suggesting the comments on production news suggest the PC deal is also ready. Could anyone (stas20 in particular) explain the thinking on that one? Id taken them to be 2 separate events given the earlier comments below from September. If both are boxed off though we should really fly!

Wouldn’t be unusual for a billion dollar build to be delayed again would it. But that’s an aside the statement is great in terms of the specific news on us and the wider underlying sentiment.

Be nice to have a steady rise into the production RNS and then a decent spike.

It’s AIM, companies like this love a raise! Thing is, it’s not even necessarily a negative, if it’s used to spin up more producing wells that are commercially rewarding then great. Perhaps we’ll progress with the deferred payment option that DQE are seemingly desperate for, but not actually agreed to for either of the first 2 wells. Hence I think a raise is more likely than funding 6 wells ourselves. Not really a problem / issue either way for me to be fair as I don’t intend on being here that long. It’s a binary bet for me now, we either starting producing and selling in the next week or so and I’ll hopefully make a profit, or we don’t for whatever reason and ill take a loss and a lesson.

It’s an exciting time either way and I remain cautiously confident.

Yeah I have little doubt Tenbag is a liar and hasn’t suddenly appeared posting 15 times a day, having been a long term silent holder. But who cares, we’re all internet strangers. We know he’s not going to give honest analysis because he’s admitted he wouldn’t say anything “negative”, by which he appears to mean discuss the Pros and Cons like some of us try to do.

We know for a fact the “positivity” crew have a desire to promote the stock. You’ve said yourself you don’t understand why people would be negative about something they hold, the implication being you believe posts can impact price.

So people like myself who try to be objective are on the moral highground here and more trustworthy, because we’re holders and still calling things as we see. Even if someone is talking it down to suit their agenda (fwiw I don’t think anyone is) then it’s no different to talking it up their own agenda.

Noteworthy nobody had the bottle to take me up on my offer to show my holding for a bet. So rest assured I’m a holder and want this to move up asap. It doesnt mean we’ll have 6 wells next year tho - again I’d wager they’ll be a raise before 6 wells and again nobody fancied putting their money where their massive mouths are. Objective readers may wonder why that is.

I’d suggest anyone sensible just ignores Tenbag - having contradicted themslecss around the cost of wells and posted 50 times of mainly sledging in 2 days, it’s clear they can’t be taken seriously.

Let’s stick the facts / analysis - we all get something out of the board that way. 👍

Sadly my average isn’t current prices so I would t be making 26%.

I’m here for the short term catalysts but don’t like the fundamentals so will go when the chance arrives.

I do enjoy when people like tenbag admit they wouldn’t post negative about something they hold. Essentially admitting they use these boards to try and influence the price. Personally I don’t think the grown ups read into these posts which is one reason I post what I actually think.

I think there’s still doubt on all of those catalysts. I think the market wants proof revenue is coming. Combined with market mechanics such as the selling you flagged, I’m hoping that explains the poor price. Like you I thought earlier good news on permits would move us. I obviously massively regret getting involved for a short term catalyst which is why I’ve tried looking deeper into the longer term investment (in case I get left holding).

I suspect the next RNS will be production confirmation it’s whether it comes with a deal confirmation.

I’ll be walking at anything over 2.90 as the longs here look like rainbow chasers which turns me off. Too much uncertainty on the fundamentals.

2. Deal confirmed

3. H2 confirmed as commercial

4. H2 put on production

I’m hoping / expecting the first 3 this year which should lead to a decent move up. If we don’t get at least 2 the SP will languish / drop.
