You'll not in my post preceding yours I quoted minimum 3K, as that would be good for 'Lancaster pressures'. Wellhead components and flowlines are probably easier 'of the shelf' to get at 5K, though, so that may be the rating. That having been said, the trees, etc. were 'long lead items', so essentially made to order.
I agree with you that on drilling rigs these days, 10K, 15K or even 20K are installed from new to cope with most possibilities. But for the Xmas trees and flowlines on Lancaster 10K would be utterly pointless overkill, and the higher the pressure rating the more expensive the kit is.
But as for pipework on the FPSO, I haven't a clue what it's rated for.
