There's no point in hearing from GH until he has something material to say Fc.

If he just pops on the board every so often to say everything is OK, then that would only give the doom-mongers ammo to say he is panicking and propping up the SP.

GH will be the first one we hear from when he has anything material & worthwhile to report - we have more information that 99% of companies on AIM or even the main listing, we get updates of the progress on site every 5 days from the satellite images and we get drilling updates every 6/7 weeks without fail.

Well - there's only one way to rub it in their face now Joe!!! , the annoying thing is it probably spooked PI's into selling this morning (hopefully not at a loss) so they will probably be locked out when the good news arrives, but if people have bought into the story and done their "proper" research then this is just another blip in the day to day share price movements.

3 big catalysts coming in the next 2/3 months - Scallywag (SWAG) initial results, 2 x Havieron results before year end & initial MRE.

These quarterly results from NCM will provide a mass of infill and depth data and should definitely allow Hannam to update their target price. We've noticed that the rigs have barely moved in the past 6-8 weeks and when they have they have invariably moved to a pre-existing drill collar. This means they haven't had to drill through any of the 400m of cover so every metre of drilling should be through ore-bearing rocks.

Really excited to see if the grade continuity continues in the NW Breccia and just how deep they will have tested this time.

I thought it was a very capable delivery by Callum - remember this is the first time they have been invited to present at Diggers & Dealers, so Havieron was always going to be the main focus of the presentation. I think he did a good job of trying to get across the potential of Havieron to continue to grow over the coming weeks / months. We all follow the story in minute detail, but to casual observers he needed to explain the potential of the breccia and the potential to the NW and depth to continue to grow the size of the deposit exponentially.

Interesting he made reference to the "toll-processing" of the ore at Telfer on a couple of occasions - highlighting the fact that GGP are fully prepared to see this right the way through to production IMO.

Also like the comment that they were very excited with what they had achieved up to now but are even more excited to see what the future brings (remember they are in possession of a lot more info than we are privy to.)

All in all - probably what we expected but not quite what we'd hoped for.

That's a fair point Dorsett and I did email Callum after his AMEC presentation and ask how the original modelling was holding up now that they were getting drilling data. He replied that it was reasonably accurate and if they were modelling 650million tonnes and we are now looking at roughly 500million tonnes from actual measurements then that's more reason to be confident.

My question to him was more directed to how confident they were of their Scallywag models given the successful modelling. Here's the quoted sentence from his reply

"Our geophysical models of Havieron from pre GGP drilling are holding up very well. This gives us a high degree of confidence with our modelling over the Scallywag targets and other targets such as Parley and the many others within the Paterson Range East licence."

Still we need to see what actually comes up out of the ground - Paddy

@Dorsett - those estimates were done using forward modelling purely from the AEM survey results that GGP had to hand in 2018.
The current 3D and plan / cross-section images will have been generated using the down-hole data gathered during the 1000's of metres of drilling that's been completed since 2018. Those initial calcs are way out of date now.

Newcrest have today withdrawn their original license application for the haul road - but fear not it's only because they submitted a new and improved one on the 6th October.

The original application was L 45/570 and the purpose was
a road (and associated maintenance requirements)

The new application is L 45/582 and the purpose has now been updated to
a bore field, a pipeline, a power line, a road, a water management facility, taking water

I would assume from this that planning has moved on considerably in the past month - NCM & GGP showing no signs of slowing down.

I see Artemis are up another 3.3% overnight - seems to be building nicely on anticipation of drilling starting.

I was reading the ARV thread on Hotcopper this morning and came across this post -

Hi Spratt - yes I did spot that earlier on, it's on one of the pre-prepared pads at the top of Blackbeard that I highlighted last week. Looks to me like they have completed the DD hole at Kraken and have moved onto the next target.

Seems they are working to a pretty rigid plan and by my count they are close to double figures in drill holes now. The news-flow will be great between now and Christmas - Paddy

Well we know the drill-rigs have been pretty much stationary in that area apart from the odd shuffle so I think it's safe to say they are "drilling the bejesus out of it"

GGP are at stand 127 for anybody who might be attending.

Don't know for certain but it's only a 15 minute slot so I think it will just be a presentation - they have a stand in the exhibition hall also so if anybody wanted to ask questions, I'm guessing there will be someone from the company available there over the 3 days.
