No worries mate - just thought I would repost as people said it had been removed. Shouldn't be anything sensitive in there - the picture I posted is from a publicly available webpage and just shows the transfer of the 40% of Scallywag has been completed and it's now 100% in GGP ownership again.
I said that Newcrest have no involvement in Scallywag - I guess that's no strictly true as they have first refusal on it.

The license for area for the Havieron JV M 45/1287 has now been split from the main Havieron license E 45/4701. The JV license is split 60/40 as per the farm-in status but the full 100% of E 45/4701 has been transferred back to GGP since the 16th September.
Newcrest have absolutely no involvement or no claim on Scallywag at the moment - it is 100% a GGP tenement once again.

Anyone who is spooked and sells then that is totally fine by me but if you were prepared to buy in the recent or far-past then ask yourself what has changed in the past couple of weeks.

We have seen the progress on the ground in both the Havieron & Scallywag areas (satellites don't lie) and we know NCM are busy working 24/7
We have heard from Sandeep at the Denver Gold forum waxing lyrical about Havieron and how it will secure the future of Telfer in the short & long term (backed up by the licence approval and exploration camp construction)
We have heard from GH & Willem Middelkoop at the CDF discovery day - with GH going to pains to point out to investors to study the releases and check the proliferation of cemented breccia that makes Havieron a bulk mining prospect.

Sentiment and rainbow chasing are par for the course on AIM and we have to accept that but as far as long term investments go then GGP's portion of Havieron looks to be nailed on.

Then we have Scallywag - this could potentially be a company maker but I accept there is no guarantee until we see the RNS drop with the results in black & white. The success at Havieron does not make Scallywag a nailed on certainty but it does narrow the odds somewhat in our favour IMO.

As the man says - you pays your money and takes your chances - simples.....

Absolutely right guys IMO - we will get the next update on the evening of the 28th which is 3 weeks tomorrow.

In theory then the interim results between the September & December results should come sometime around the middle of December but last year Newcrest released them early to coincide with the GGP AGM in early December. With the MRE also due by the end of December it should be a news rich period running up to the year end with Havieron alone - notwithstanding any results from our own exploration efforts.

Gervaise is presenting at the Diggers & Dealers conference next Monday - it would be nice if he had something other than Havieron to discuss........

@AM90 - that is a good spot, I've been checking to the North of Havieron every time but never thought to look to the East initially. I wonder what piqued their interest to start over there first? Newcrest had said the Havieron system was closed to the East, so it would be a separate target over there.

I haven't looked at them other than watching out for results on their ground next door to our Panorama license. I haven't got the time to do research on any other companies at the moment so just sticking with what I know for now.

Nobody is ramping December IMO - it's what Newcrest (SB) has stated on numerous occasions and up to now they have hit or been ahead of their target dates. Here's the quote from the slide in the Denver Gold presentation.

"Initial resource targeted by Dec 2020, PFS expected by late 2021"

So targeted by December could mean anytime between now and end of December IMO - it will come when they are good and ready - please have a bit of patience folks, the longer it takes the better for us again IMO.

No surprise to see Havieron is front and centre in their report for the year gone by and also in their plans for the coming year.

@hydrogen - it would appear when you look at the location of the high grade sulphide zone in the SE at Havieron there quite a close correlation between it's location and the coincidence of the gravity & magnetic anomalies there.

This is an except from the last report on Scallywag by GGP.

o Kraken: A high intensity ‘bulls-eye’ magnetic anomaly with the same
amplitude, character and depth extent as observed at Havieron. IP results
indicate a strong chargeability anomaly coincident with the Kraken magnetic
anomaly.

One can only assume that this is why they are now drilling in this location - (fingers crossed emoji)....

I was mulling over the latest satellite image that showed they had returned to Kraken and looked to be using a Diamond Drill as opposed to the RC which we think they used previously. I think they are going after the area where the gravity IP anomaly and the magnetic anomaly are coincident.
Co-incident anomalies are one of the most important features used to identify possible deposits at depth - taht was quoted both by Callum and Sam Garratt who GGP acquired the Havieron licence from.

I cant' see us getting an updated broker note now before the next Havieron update from NCM, remember it's only 3 weeks nest Thursday to the NCM quarterly. Hopefully by then we will have an initial set of results from Scallywag and we should see a lot of infill drilling through the breccia which will allow Hannam the opportunity to be more accurate with their estimations.

If we were going to get one based on the current drilling then we would have seen it by now IMO.

I had also heard of 7:1 as being the standard for the decline but I was just relaying the email as it was sent.
If you read the post again he says the portal entrance to the decline would be about 25m depending on ground conditions and the decline would be to a depth of about 500m, so about 80m below the top of the ore-body.
As for the TBM vs drill & blast - you are quite right, NCM are the experts and they will use the optimal method. Just wondering what the lead time on a machine like that would be? Would they have had enough time to determine the type of machine that would be optimal. Reading up on them there are an infinite number of variations depending on ground conditions, etc, etc.
Maybe they can be more dynamic in dealing with the variations between the looser Permian covering and the harder basement sequence if they use traditional methods??
Whatever method they employ we can agree that NCM are progressing this at breakneck speed.

No mate - he has no connection to NCM or Havieron, I think he spent his working life in the gold mines in SA but obviously working all his life in the industry one would listen to his experience.
He may not be 100% correct on assumptions and like everything - there could no doubt be curveballs that throw these schedules out, but as a ballpark guideline it's probably as good a guesstimate as any of us could make.
