Concentrating on the patents is not the important issue here ! It is copyright ! The software that has been developed for FINKit has to be protected by copyright ! So, this is not published in any register and simply exists in a written format ! As it was developed internally it does not need to be shown in the accounts ! Seeon - so why do Fiserv want to buy us ? Look at their plans,as set out in the takeover documentation ; do they really mean to say that Monitise patents are worth nothing ! They want us bad ! Why else would they want to buy ? Maybe ,it is copyright that has not been disclosed ! So,they should pay a fair price or stand aside !

If IBM or another want Monitise then they have a few weeks left to put their bid on the table ! When bidding, I have always left it to the last moment to do so ! So the next few weeks will be interesting ! A bargain is to be had ,so I suspect that one or more bidders will appear from nowhere, as often happens !

Valuehunter-if it is one and the same gent , then he retired as Vice Chair of JP Morgan in 2010,long before the sale by Visa. Since 2010 he has been a director of Nadaq Inc. http://www.oneingredientchef.com/thick-almond-milk/ It is an endorsement of Monitise that he remains a large shareholder in the company and this fact reinforces my belief that we are being substantially undersold !

K3 - you forgot to add the value of FINKit and the patents !

The BOD have passed the ball to the shareholders. The decision to accept or reject the takeover offer is now down to us to decide. Personally, I was for auctioning the company at the point when EBITDA had been achieved, so I have no gripes about a takeover-only the proposed price ! It could be of course,that the BOD see the Fiserv offer as a form of stalking horse bid ,with the hope that a stallion will appear on the stage !
