Throgmorton Trust Share Price (THRG)

Announced today. Why do they do these things? I liked THRG's differentiated strategy and ability to short. Now we will be rendered into another bog standard smaller companies trust and one that's too big. Yes fees will slightly reduce, but this will be more a mid-cap than a small-cap investor. Good for Blackrock, not for me. Will probably take my 38% at a 1% discount to NAV.

Funny to see that I first bought into THrG three years ago at 640 and have come back again at 500. What a funny few days with the tariffs, hopefully I’ve timed my entries well

I retreated to mainly cash in February but am a bit more optimistic as well with economic news. I sold out at 630 and might be tempted back in if the SP drops below 550 again.
