I watched a video last week and,the,fund manager of the lowlands fund was complaining about all the takeovers in her fund because it was difficult to replace them in this current market

Sparks yeah I get what you saying and did think about selling my self yesterday and I dont think another bid will come now but iam 95% certain the deal will go though, in these current markets many fund,managers will tell you at the moment stock picking his difficult so 8% gain in the next 9 to 12 months his,not bad in these current markets I get it that people were buying yesterday

Exane BNP cuts Tate & Lyle to 'neutral' (outperform) - price target 595 pence

Great news to see this offer price recommended by Tate. It's a massive premium to where the sp has been. I've held my main position for 15 months and have decided to sell. They suggest this completing in the second half of 2027 and that would give me an annualised return of about 7.5 to 8% at a sp of 560.5 which was my sell price. That's not really enough for me to stick around given the small risk the deal collapses. Yes, another bidder may arrive but Tate seems to like this bidder. I suspect the Shorts are closing their positions now too and would not be surprised to see the sp settle lower in the coming weeks. Of course, it will drop once the divi is delivered too. Better opportunities await hopefully. Good luck to everyone who invested here and I wouldn't blame anyone who wants to see it through to the end.
