Has had various good right ups and is usually top performer during down times due to diversity of trust.

Have browse of holdings and watch how it changes each month.

You need to watch NAV ( this is value of holdings against price of share ).

I once had 3000 shares here in 2009, then haircut it in 2015 and spread again.

But trick is the plant seeds everywhere you fully understand not what others tell you to do.

That way you’re good.

I am considering a defensive play to make my divi income stream more robust to protect vs. UK CPI, while at the same time diversifying my market spread within my predominantly UK portfolio.

It's some time since there were a number of negative posts from justifiably disgruntled long term investors and I'm intrigued to know if they stuck with it and have not regretted doing so, or whether they bailed out and now regret that?

Having read results today, they have made new holdings in MBG & Meltronic.

Both I believe are double baggers over LONG term.

Disc is currently sitting around 4.84% to NAV of 288p

Iv been here since 2009/10 bought 1200 at 760p then that Sharesplit last yr and rebase. Has it actually made any difference for younger investors????

MYI is in long term liquidation coz of share buybacks, dividend beginning to be paid out of accumulated reserves. Death by Chinese torture.
