Tends more to % rate sensitivity than oil market. Bearing in mind what BP has been through like the Gulf oil spill only risk if we’re to go bust that think very unlikely. Would add on any weakness was better at 120 but the fixed coupon is a good one whatever you pay for it

I'm guessing that this isn't a very active forum!!! Just wondered if anyone had a view as to whether there is any advantage in holding these dhares inside an ISA envelope?

Would be nice to add to stocks like this and when in the Gulf Spill they did drop to around 130 that was an opportunity. However when they are still high like this you do depend upon % rates staying very low because there is quite a bit of potential capital loss if they don’t. Having said if you need the income for day care home fees and don’t care about or have nobody to leave money to they are an option amongst others
