A lot of investors nursing big losses here, buy further to average down or pass….the big thing here is that at least it has assets worth multiple millions, so it’s a matter of selling which they appear to be nearing according to RNS…decisions!
LTHs well and truely shafted here today!
Absolute carnage....
I think the posters are and how much you try you can't polish a turd!

Wow this company never fails to shock and disappoint.
0.275p when this rose to around 6p early June and has fallen 95% [ before today's obvious 40/45% drop.
I feel so sorry for anyone who got in on the June P&D which has been followed by raise and bad news ever since.
1 of the worst culprits on AIM in my opinion

Why would anyone pay £5 million for AAC.Cyroma?
It’s a loss making business £261,000 in last audited accounts with net assets of just £557,000 which isn’t growing revenues.
You are also ignoring £5 million Innovate loan in your value calculation.
Liars to shameful charlatans.
they never cared.... that much is now blatantly obvious..
Massive discount in 165M means this is going to fall hard in the bell…. Glad I’m not in here anymore, gl to all….
You have to ask if this Graphine is commercially viable.........they have been trying to get this thing working for years. What is the saying .... Better to fail fast......
Ouch that's one hell of a discount placing price!

And sorry for sounding like a party pooper but I was in here for a few years during that period, not one of the 300-400 RNS's announcing similar ground breaking events ever amounted to anything.
Reads typical of one of the 100's of RNS's that spurred on the climb to 180p years ago and look where we are now. Unless they can find a commercially viable and profitable use for the stuff and start selling lots of it it's not worth the paper it's written on.

Versarien wrote off all the historic goodwill associated with the mature business a few years ago as they couldn’t support their value beyond net assets which is a couple of million.
You also appear to be ignoring the £5 million innovate loan.
"proceeds" even.
It has been a shocking performance to watch especially given the positivity that was displayed in the dozens of interviews and hundreds of RNS's that pushed the SP climb up to 180p. I had been sucked in too untill the red flags became all to dominant.
They are all being sold and there will be no business left, any procedes will be split between the fat conductor and his cronies. VRS is going to the wall and has been for a long time.
The current MCAP is quite simply a joke. The 2 mature businesses that are currently in the process of being sold are worth more for sure. Also in the process of being sold is the Hanwha IP (which has been independently valued at £5m on it's own). Add those 3 together and you can see why this is grossly undervalued at the moment.
I hope the board are on the ball as Kier are near neighbours.
Market cap under 2m there has to be value here - i agree father
Thomas, you are one of the "gang" so you are one of the dangerous ones, not me. If you look at my posting history whilst I support the company I also acknowledge (and say so) that they have done things wrong, I also never encourage anyone to buy (or sell) but rather to do their own research, and then own their investing decisions rather than trying to blame someone else.
Yes, I am still a believer in VRS - which may ultimately turn out to be completely misguided - but that's my choice, and mine alone (which I accept - good or bad outcome). Am I currently well down on my investment - something you and your ilk don't understand as a concept - yes I am, have I lost everything; no.
I come on these boards - and others - to have reasoned debates about investments and accept that we will all not agree, and indeed may have very divergent views, but that is good, and healthy, as long as those views can be well argued and backed by facts / evidence - again a concept that you and your ilk fail to grasp in the desire to seem clever.
I get you don't like VRS so why are you wasting your time here rather than putting your obviously superior intellect and knowledge to good use on actual investments that you hold / believe in?
Nobody has lost their entire investment at all. In actual fact, I know that certain investors that actually took the bother to attend the meeting today came away positive and bought more shares. It's not all doom and gloom behind the scenes I can assure you.
Fatherelmer, are you still posting here , your support of this POS , has contributed to naive investors to loose their entire investment.

Not where I expected to be with this investment, however all may not be lost in 5-10 years perhaps?
This line made me laugh
"The New Deferred Shares will have little economic value"
Is that not all shares? All VRS shares have little value - everyone here has been rinsed down 99%. Criminal.
'Finally a decent RNS, should put this back up a few clicks'
Really? Do you think a reduction in the SP of 33% may contradict that view? Your handle (BoredOfYourWaffl lol) says a lot....
