Yes of course I'd expect there to be some effect on the share price if someone attempted to aggressively buy 250 million shares but then has there not just been 165.5 million bought in the placing? And someone suggested earlier that £165million could already be well under way to changing hands? To be honest I haven't yet sat down and closely looked at the numbers so it had been just an off the cuff suggestion that if anyone in big industry thought they had tech that was worth having they wouldn't have to buy the company outright to gain control if VRS didn't want to sell. No argument.
And where are they going to get nearly 250m millions shares from Oculus? If they were to start buying the SP would start climbing significantly
Well that's charming isn't it!
I don't think anyone will get much by going through the trades, so much smoke and mirrors you won't really know what's a buy or a sell, volume is high for sure but doesn't mean a huge amount. Remember the days of the pump for the previous placing(s) where we saw something like 420million volume?
Not a lot of stock? Just the 165 mill from the placing being washed through back and forth.
Lse99, VRS might not be up for sale outright but less than 500,000 would buy a majority controlling position within the company. Peanuts to any large organisation that thought their technology was worth something.
Have the flippers all flipped yet? Looking stronger today, keep an eye imo. GLA
But the last few days a large chunk of VRS bought at 0.27p and that is enough to hold it back for a while.
At least some future has to be positive to change the mode here.
Unless you want to allow the new investor out at a handsome profit soon??
Even if you had £1m and tried to buy VRS outright you would find out that the company isn't for sale. At any price never mind £1m. There are parts of the company for sale but not the graphene side of things (apart from Hanwha IP which is independently valued at £5m)
Morning all, does anyone know what stage the BBA approval for Cementene is at, or what has caused the delay on this?
I had correspondence from Bannagher who really like the Cementene TM . I hope they can get to use it in many of the new major concrete works starting in Ireland early next year.
figtree harry
you are ignoring the £5 million innovate loan and the £1.9 million bank loan in your buy vrs for £1 million and it’s a deal, it’s a steal, it’s sale of the ******* century calculations.
factor in the ongoing losses and suddenly its not such a bargain after all.
Absolutely, am very surprised VRS hasn't been taken out at this low level. It's an enticing play with its proven multi-industry graphene product applications. The garment side of things is exciting and should provide steady income, but once the Cementene approvals come through, then we have the real gamechanger. I will be adding at these levels with that in mind.
Having the all the money one thing, but business knowledge is as important. Look at chelsea 🤣
An interesting suggestion but if it were that simple and profitable then why aren't there attempts to buy the company from those that have a loose million in change in their pocket? 🤔
3.64% Added more?
You could sell the house to buy company outright at £1m, gets you instantly into the graphine business and 2-3 businesses abroad, and £m’s sale of assets go to you.
Easily worth 20x with various company assets and intellectual property and revenue. A number of RnD projects on the go.
TR1 yes, at 10m holdings, get that paper work done..🤒
mine may fall just under, deends if we stay at this level next week.
That would certainly be a very welcome turnaround!
Level 2 looks aweful. Indicates sub 0.3 coming.
I am coming after you, still adding !!
A couple of stocks to sell tonight, and jig the portFolio.
Was sniffing for something a little more exciting to end the year.
Could we see 23p -35p Oculus?
My earlier buy also shows as a sell so the dark market arts appear to be trying to keep a lid on Versarien's sub 1p popularity.
I should be issuing a TR1 then holding 3.65% of the company 🤔🤦
Sold my Aston Martin to buy in here, even they have issues. Massive issues in fact, seems evryone has issues these days. 😂 No company or CEO is perfect. All arxxes.
Agree, this will come good, quietly adding without disturbing the peace
May see an update to this list.

Agreed that the riskvreward ratio here now looks pretty good at this price so have doubled what was already (for me) a very reasonable holding - admittedly bought at much higher levels :-( Consequently, average buy price has dropped significantly and my view has always been that if you believe in the product and the leader, then hopefully it will come good before it goes under due to dragging time-frames. Don't think Dr Stephen Hodge would be hanging around, tarnishing his credentials if he didn't believe in solid near-term future commercial contracts. Am certain that he will have had head-hunters circling but he's still here, which must be a good sign - I like to think so anyway!
Well If you couldn’t afford theseshares at the top, may as well top up at 1p and under, you hold %of the compny. LOL..
Looked on yesterday, so be buying in after years also, sense upside once we motor, i.e when the mm decides to moves it up.
Pro and minus as with many shares, weighed it up, the high risk = high upside also.
Multiplier from £1m cap but time to buy at this levels and tuck away.
