It's Wednesday morning on a small cap stock with no news today, of course it's quiet. Also, you know full well there are a lot of people who read these boards without commenting, otherwise you wouldn't be doing what you are.

They are far from finished, if the markets didn't have faith in them the company would have gone under long ago, and nobody would be buying the placings. They have a solid turnaround plan, and they are going through that step by step.

Another fact you failed to mention is that the only transactions at 0.056 are for a tiny 175 shares each.

It is refreshing to see you post something balanced for once, and I actually agree with you that the MCK payment will be pivotal for the short term SP. Your point that they didn't mention the payment is an interesting one, although they did say they will be exhibiting alongside MCK in Korea towards the end of October.

I have no intention of filtering you, but I will continue to call you out if you only ever present the negative side of the argument in an inflammatory way. It's not about being right or wrong, it's about making an informed choice.

You're obviously only here to bring the SP down for your own gain "Ace". I don't think you could be much more blatant about that, and you've avoided my questions relating to it more than once. Also, facts don't need to be backed up, as they are widely known truths. Your opinions should be backed up by facts though, otherwise it's just speculation. Tell us, which facts back up your OPINION that the MCK payment won't come in this month? There aren't any as far as I can tell, and without them it's just more scaremongering from you.

That's easily explained Uzi, people are concerned about a possible placing, and that's not likely to change unless one happens, the MCK payment comes in, or they get funds from another source. It's made worse by others presenting their opinions as facts, which is just scaremongering for their own gain.

That's exactly the problem though "Ace", you only ever give the same negatives again, and again, and again. Never a balanced argument. This leads me to believe that you have a vested interest in bringing the SP down.

So many sells of 200 shares (about 10p) or less now, someone is really desperate to hold this back.

So you're not going to answer my question then "Ace", but rather just keep repeating yourself ad nauseum and go over old RNS info again?

How about this then, tell us why you're in here, if you're not invested in the company as you say. Why waste so much time on it?

What you don't seem to realise "Ace" is that your 12 month average figure that you love to roll out several times a day has absolutely no bearing on future placings. In the last year the company has been in the depths of the turnaround project, changing the direction of the business, and clearing up the mess left by NR. This probably included a number of redundancy payouts. Also in that period they have significantly cut their operational losses, brought in cash from asset sales, and generated increasing amounts of income from licensing agreements. So please, explain to us all how the next 12 months will be in any way similar to the last.

So if the second payment from MCK comes in, they agree a sale for Total Carbide, and they receive even one of the several grants that they've applied for, then where does the SP go? Based on past performance it's more likely than not that all of these will happen at some point.

One thing that some people seem to be missing (or choosing to ignore) is that the last placing was brought forward because of the delay in receiving the second payment from MCK Tech. "IF" this comes in before the end of October as planned then there should be no need for another placing for a while, and there are strong signs in the RNS that VRS and MCK have a good working relationship, so there is no reason right now to believe that won't happen.

For several days now, someone has been desperately trying to push and keep the SP as low as possible, with multiple sells of 500 shares or less (under 30p per trade) for the lowest possible price. Any guesses who this could be?

They raised £550k from a placement just 2 months ago, and have another £302k plus interest due by the end of October from the sale to MCK Tech, so why would they delist or call in administrators? According to their last interim financial results it would take around 6 months to burn through £800k, and they claim to be reducing that figure, so they should be fine until January even with no more asset sales or placings.

Morning all, does anyone know what stage the BBA approval for Cementene is at, or what has caused the delay on this?
