Not sure cheeky101 but they'll be out by beginning of next week and should read well. Hubs, reckon you're being optimistic about I010 coming online in 'a few weeks' time' - more likely a few months imo. That said, there's a lot to look forward to here with the spot prices holding firm and, potentially, a storming H2 production rate leading to a record '24 final number - assuming the rollout/plant commissioning goes to plan, of course! I paid in the 30s to max out my ISA in this share last year and never expected to be down here again for the latest new ISA allowance. Despite myself, as well as the portfolio being overweight in IOF, just couldn't resist adding a few more at circa 20p. Now just going to sit back and hopefully reap the rewards... famous last words!!
B3ast, Don't you worry your pretty little face over it... We're all big boys/girls here and take our chances on the vagaries of AIM and the stock market in general. You save your ideas for your own personal investments and don't lose any sleep over the rest of us and ours. Confident that VRS will rebound here. Good weekend to one and all!
My buy has actually shown as a buy today and there seem to be plenty of others snapping up the shares at this price, so the placing shares are likely to be cleared quite quickly. Agreed on being glad to get it over and done with at a slightly better price than we might otherwise have got - laughable really when you think of the heady highs it's descended from, but am much more optimistic about things in light of recent announcements, particularly as I've been able to bring my average down considerably. Still a long way to go, though corner turned, in my view.
The 10:32 transaction of 162000 shares was in fact a purchase, so I think it's safe to assume all those recent so-called sells this morning at around that price (0.15) are also buys. The investment proposition is starting to look much more attractive now with these latest contractual developments and the positive media coverage should help things along nicely.
Agreed LSE, this appointment augurs well, as I don't see anyone choosing to join a sinking ship, especially a professional of his calibre. Couple that with today's Korean sale news and licensing deal, then we might conclude that the turnaround strategy is visibly starting to come to fruition. I was heartened that it was some solid, progressive news, for a change and not the much anticipated further dilution. Additionally, I feel that NR must know that this phoenix is destined to rise from the ashes, otherwise he wouldn't be unashamedly chasing it through the courts for more cash - with all of the ensuing bad feeling from ex-colleagues/local business contacts - so he obviously feels that it will be well worth his while. Looking to be an interesting year ahead imo and no, I don't foresee administration just yet.
Overall, a reasonable set of results with no nasty surprises - car loan provisions already expected, overly negatively reported and may yet not materialise to the dire extent predicted. Added earlier on this basis and fully expect a bounce-back in Sp by close of day.
Plenty of buys coming through at 0.35 - couldn't resist a few more at this level - a wild punt, or a calculated risk? The latter, I hope, based on potential near-term asset sales and a turn in fortunes on concrete product contracts.
Absolutely, am very surprised VRS hasn't been taken out at this low level. It's an enticing play with its proven multi-industry graphene product applications. The garment side of things is exciting and should provide steady income, but once the Cementene approvals come through, then we have the real gamechanger. I will be adding at these levels with that in mind.
Agreed that the riskvreward ratio here now looks pretty good at this price so have doubled what was already (for me) a very reasonable holding - admittedly bought at much higher levels :-( Consequently, average buy price has dropped significantly and my view has always been that if you believe in the product and the leader, then hopefully it will come good before it goes under due to dragging time-frames. Don't think Dr Stephen Hodge would be hanging around, tarnishing his credentials if he didn't believe in solid near-term future commercial contracts. Am certain that he will have had head-hunters circling but he's still here, which must be a good sign - I like to think so anyway!
Brucel, you chose not to answer my earlier question about what your actual agenda is, though it's fairly transparent. Trying to garner financial/legal support through an anonymous bulletin board smacks of desperation and calls into question the credibility of your cause - perhaps you should trawl the depths of advfn and its resident VRS trolls, though they were indeed very reticent in hard cash support for the chicken Sandwich. Smokey, you really are a naughty little Scheiss-stirrer;-)
