Now that is a very strong update: Record annual production, record revenue and record profits on the back of steady expansion, alongside robust iodine prices. The market must surely wake up to the trajectory of this business and the share price should start to fly at last!

Excruciating is the only way to describe the slow demise of Versarien. A company which had/still has so much potential and yet looks to be about to fold. How can a government block its sale to the Chinese on the grounds of strategic security, while not offering funds to enhance our own strategic security through this very UK company's advanced material assets/know-how? This self-same government is simultaneously rubber-stamping a massive Chinese embassy in a very dominant location off of Tower Bridge. The stupidity/hypocrisy of politicians knows no bounds and what a crying shame that they prioritise/bankroll everybody else's human rights over serious homegrown endeavour and entrepreneurship.

Well, since I've been steadily adding, a rebound would be most welcome!

On the contrary, darbinator, I have seen a huge percentage improvement on today's rise - that said, I have averaged down quite a bit at these levels, including another small bite this morning at 0.72. Exciting times ahead, I feel.

That's me out as well. Taken a hit on this one but the inevitable downwards trajectory is clear for all to see. Better to retrieve something now and invest it where there are more realistic prospects, me thinks.

Well, I did my bit to help bolster the sp just after open this morning. Fairly confident this will turn soon with even a little bit of the much-awaited pipeline of good news.

That's a very strong update, with 215.8MT record Q3 iodine production and all on track for a bumper record annual rate. With Iodine prices holding firm in the 70s and IO12-build close to being signed and sealed, this should act as a catalyst for a long overdue SP re-rate!

Was a bit miffed that I had to pay above 0.8p for yesterday's top-up, but thanks to the short-sighted, I got a slightly smaller amount today at 0.77p, bringing my average down to goal of less than 1p. Call me a ramper if you like, but it seems like a steal with all that's going on behind the scenes. That said, I won't lie; all the talk in the media of an AI bubble with dot.com bust similarities has given me pause for thought. Happy to sit and wait now with what I have. After all, GST have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies from a very low base and maybe it's the overinflated, bigger players who need to watch out!

Totally agree, Mesquida, as some of us have been here a mighty long time and are holding out for something more. That said, the reality is that there are many frustrated stale bulls in IOF just itching to exit (partially or completely) on the slow journey back up, so even with constantly improving production and record revenue/profit figures, the sp ascent is unlikely to go in a rapid straight line. Indeed, Jdubya, 50p would be a good start, but many may well need substantially more than that just to break even, let alone to rekindle dream sp numbers of old.

In for a few more at sub-0.8p - any near-future good news profits destined for the Christmas hamper!

Well, the 'Unknown' buyer is still out there mopping up at these ridiculously low prices - with all these recent record figures (increased monthly production, H1 Revenue, Iodine spot prices) imo, something has to give soon, which must surely be reflected in a surging share price.
