RE: Strong book1 Feb 2025 19:57
Every dog has its day, shrimp! Versarien has spent all the time I've been invested (close to a decade) researching, testing trialling, entering into collaborations, networking and establishing its name as a serious, informed player in the graphene market, all the more so now that Dr Hodge is at the helm. Unfortunately, frustrating as it has been for us lths, the company has actually sold little or nothing, the balance sheets have spoken for themselves, the sp is, consequently, on its knees and many have, sadly, lost a fortune.
However, there is, imo, a new feel to things now as the turnaround strategy starts to reap its rewards - yes, we've just had another placing, but it was marginally higher than the previous one, which is somewhat encouraging and suggests that the green shoots are finally forming and that there is better news ahead. One of the mature businesses is sold, producing an, albeit slow, income stream, the other is in talks and the Koreans are due to pay up their final tranche of 100k including that welcome 10% interest for payment default.
These new advanced materials take time to convince and embed, but, as others have said, the sustainability climate seems right for this to take off. As others have pointed out, this company seems way undervalued when you bear in mind the IP, 2025 cutting-edge product relevance, government contacts, readily forthcoming funding - as evidenced by the recent Gnanomat receipts - and the plethora of products it can offer on a multi-industry basis.
Am once again optimistic here and looking forward to a much improved 2025!
