Well said Onsolidground
Yorek was aiming at my post about voting against re-electing Gallemore, a Lord of Kensington (PHEWW) and of course the captain MM himself.
If anyone doesn't like my vote or reason for the vote, they can buy my shares for £1.50 Untill then they are mine and I can vote as I please.
Its the truth The Hermit. Best you get back to watching your next trade. Looks like rampy Crafty has bought in for his next 4%.
I'm after a more meaningful change in the share price.
Plus side somebody seems to be subtly buying back in difference to the last few days.
Thanks for a list of current issues with THG at the moment Onsolid, it was fresh, straight of the blue and nothing like any of your previous 6000 posts about the same thing
Yorek, I think many think that it is both the Chairman and Moulding and Gallimore also that need replacing and even Moulding himself acknowledged in the Times profile piece that the share price would be substantially higher without him in position so it must be there in the back of his mind.
Replace the Chairman and bring in somebody stronger would be the logic. Somebody that is visibly "in charge". Somebody like Stuart Rose ex M+S and now Asda, Stephen Hester or others.
You seem to be exhibiting classic Stockholm share syndrome symptoms where you have a share price 1/3 and probably 1/4 of two previous Bids, yet 2 years and 1.25 years on from those Bids you think everything in the garden is rosy and carry on as we are.
It's not rosy in the garden and Activist Investor is highlighting things need to change in the interests of attaining shareholder value. The present share price is an utter disgrace given how other markets have performed and speaks of non-delivery.
-Ingenuity. How much spent on it - Nada Whales
-Nutrition. £50M spent to retain customers. Gawd knows how much spent on a rebrand also. One shoots the other in the foot. Nada on that one everybody would take - but it was Minus 9% at last update
-No seperate listings despite saying at an analysts meeting "in the not too distant"
-No Share Buybacks
-No Premium Listing in 2 years
- What is the strategy to recover the share price.
-No increased holdings TR1's in 18 months
-Constant moaning about bad actors but as Kelso rightfully point out imo it's not all down to the City.
-95% of all advice binned
- My dogs got more comments
No room for emotions I'm afraid when it comes to investing.
Agree YIAB and Yorek, one of the thoughts I had was simply to cause discord and an avenue of attack against Matt that isn't direct, first stop, then him next. Also maybe they are hoping to bring in someone more sympathetic to their short term goals

Beauty update will be strong. All motions at the AGM will be passed. The ship is turning and MM is on the road to redemption
BlueWiey, found this on YouTube, uploaded just 9 days ago, about 'Techs Impact on Health and Beauty', bit geeky but if you skip the first 10 mins there is a good insight into how well THG Beauty is doing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=SUAIYN0FlQQ
Also, it will be interesting to find out how Nutrition are doing with offline sales now they are in Boots and all the major supermarkets.
Expecting Q2 update Monday 7am so not long to wait now.
Cash flow positive guidance to be on track and strategy update about unlocking the SOTP
Rat-a-tat -tat …Beauty is doing really well..
Costco Hyrox Crisps Cola … rat-ah-tat-tat .. the next 3 months are going to be very interesting
… more to follow

Labour have learned the lesson that they only get into power with a centrist agenda. I don't have faith in them personally, they are mostly muppets but the Tories need to be humbled because they have been a shambles for a long time.
He likes the sound of his own voice. The super rich will be panicking about the new Labour Government so they're getting on side and a few 'donations' (I can think of another word) will hopefully curry favour with SIR (I'm a socialist) Starmer. Who says politicians aren't influenced by money💰 ?
Yep, GDP & the environment are his main concerns, yet he still cruises around in his 73m gin palace - what a 🤡
I think Labour win will have a positive effect on whole sector.. contracts depending!
He knows Labour are going to win a huge majority so he's obviously hedging his bets to be backing the winning team in the hope of some favourable tax schemes for billionaires you wonder? 🤔 I should think a lot of billionaires and millionaires will be jumping aboard the same Labour bandwagon. JMO
I did it
Pretty straightforward, there are 20 questions. All ticked for except re-electing 3 directors, The ones that you lot most talk about. so I guess I am in same camp as you.
You're welcome
Thanks Got-Banned
I think it was very much in your interest to get all of us to vote.
So I am going to try
How to give an instruction
Log in to your account using our website. It’s not possible to give instructions via the HL app
Select ‘View shareholder meetings’
View your shareholder meetings and provide an instruction.
I believe they use broadridge the same as the broker I use. You basically get given a security number from HL, sign up to broadridge and vote through them. Any problems best give HL an email or a quick phone call, for context I don’t use HL but just a quick google.
Hi all
I hold a few shares in HL, can anyone advise me as how to vote on HL platform, there usually is an icon next my holding that says "action required". But there is nothing re THG shares.
Thanks in advance

Check HCM thread, post under same user name there.
If its to do with Bloomberg share register lists I maybe able to answer here.
Something to consider with these services is where does the data come from, most supplement official announcements such as TR1's with their own unique sources. Bloomberg have self declaration which means terminal users can notify the relevant department of their holdings.
For example a fund manager may wish to submit his holdings if they are below normal threshold notifications, this work well but in many cases updates are not made when selling out.
If there is a mismatch with Bloomberg data and what we know I would always seek to clarify from the source, i.e give the fund manager call.
This year the UK finally updated its Crest systems for T1 settlement which effectively gives almost live share register snap shots, Argus Vickers are experts in this field and the only real way to get accurate up to date analysis imo.
If its something else by all means fire me an email.
What’s your handle on a d v
Dg, more than happy to answer any questions if I can, fire away.
On a d v f n if need to send a message
Yep great idea major share holder not having it lol
This will take aggressive bid then QIA may help him out we could be up 20 p next year
It needs somebody to push big style all the time it gets bigger surely my protein into boots Rns would have been worth a try not interested in share price at all it undervalued ang gap gets bigger so why worry fair play to him don't help me a lot but only 3k sorry 2.4 k sorry 2.1k who knows best not to look

Top effort Crafty.
I will sit on my hands though regarding buying any of Matts shares. Lets see how it all pans out next week? My guess will be a sigh of relief and a small rally.
Say hello to Kong next time you are in Warrington... must be lonely.
@crowman, where have you been?
Am posting positives on a daily basis, I have also been preaching for a very, very long time that the shorts run this share.
I have also been saying 'Buy On The Dips', of which there are plenty, top slice, bank a bit, and get your long average down.
IMHO, it is best to buy when there is blood on the floor, THG is not going bust and there are plenty of examples of many companies with a greater valuation on less revenue and less profits— for example, Applied Nutrition.
Matt Moulding isn't daft if he doesn't release the SOTP valuation then he is finished.
Better to buy THG shares now before the news drops, whether that be % equity sale, division sale, foreign listing, privatisation, or Ingenuity whale.
While THG is on LSE it is controlled by the shorts and these wild fluctuations will continue.
Why do you think 'the shorts' on here say that as long as MM is in charge this is the gift that keeps on giving and then prompt others to vote him out?
Games are being played and I am happy to keep playing until the SOTP correction RNS drops and I think that has to happen very soon :)
Come on Crafty, you have had plenty time to come up with something positive...
How about an update on the THG foyer Gorilla?
Anything, just make it positive.

IMHO the current share price decline has nothing to do with macro or fund repositioning. It's the market taking bets that the AGM won't go well and/or the accompanying trading statement will be underwhelming.
78p to 62p with little sign of any support.
Well, MM has always wanted to prove the naysayers wrong. This would be a good time to do it.....
I am selling up and moving into a cardboard box, as KIER says anyone with assets or savings is not a worker. Oh dear looks like Jeremy Corbyn still pulling his strings ⚠️ 📢 🚨
Volumes seem so low at the moment yet you would think with the macro picture improvement we would at least rise with the tide. Gla LTH
Amazing BOE yet again behind the curve inflation 2% yet interest rates 5%+… Guess what they will find themselves cutting aggressively when inflation hits 1.5% obviously chasing it again Boom & Bust good old UK…
Wouldn't be a total shock if they went for an early rate cut, conservatives are in a dire situation... oh wait BoE is apolitical..lol

I don't think anyone should sell their shares. Too close to AGM now...if you're still in now you may as well lock in.
Don't worry. The 15% fall is just the market taking out stops so all those desperado buyers can get your shares 😂😂 that's why the price is falling. Defo. Defo.
Might as well send in your CV Kim, can't be any worse than the current lot.

Well we've had the return of aph01, hardwrell and his 45p buyback in target ,pmh and polishcap and his usual antics, we know goodtimescoming has been deleted... Will tomorrow bring the triumphant return of ste2k??? "Please sell all your shares, pretty please xxxx"

I Spy With My Little Eye 👁️ 50 cents Cat 🐱
The picture. It's an American fat cat among the pigeons. Is this another bid like Apollo or a partnership. If it's among the pigeons, does that mean it's hostile? Or is it MM, the fat cat among the city pigeons, is he the one about to do something bold.
I could go on but we all see, it can mean anything can happen, but he is saying something will happen.
Not sure about a cult following. It’s a bit of fun as far as I’m concerned. Quite frankly I don’t care if they’re right, wrong or deluded. At least they provide entertainment. It’s light relief from some of the drivel we have to wade through on here. I now have 26 posters on filter, which is ludicrous.
Thanks to brenchk for today’s lesson in reading pictures; much appreciated.

YIAB - you make your point well - maybe I too sensitive to the use of the word Troll 🤔
I assume it'll go something like this? Dear investors welcome to the AGM, we are pleased to announce all resolutions have been passed despite a band of uneducated individuals voting against them, including some Jonny come lately active investors. We're delighted to say nothing much has changed since the last AGM, the Chairman is still in hiding under his desk, we were thinking about a primary listing but thought we'd wait until the FCA dictates our strategy for us. We are also delighted to inform investors they won't be getting a dividend yet again as we've decided to plough another wedge of investors cash into a black hole and that's about it until next year, thanks you for your continuing support and if you don't like it sod off!! 😆
Maybe LSE banned their accounts, much better without them that is for sure :)

I will be happy to do that when I return from the AGM. Last year we got a trading update at 7am on the morning of the AGM so looking forward to similar this year. I will be looking out for an update on strategy and FY guidance.
As I have so many times MM has to act sooner rather than later if he is to keep the support of the 65%ers
@crafty do you mind doing a little summary after the AGM for those who can’t attend…

Fair point but he does have influence on delivering the long overdue strategy update and to stabilise all the uncertainty we have floating around. Including the important business decisions here in recent years like Myprotein rebrand and Ingenuity pivot. All seem to have failed us… so far anyway

Whereas I appreciate this was linked to what he claimed was severe OCD in the same article he was pictured on a private jet with the THG Board members flying to Magaluf. Then we have the Dubai trip you mention and if you also search the internet you will probably find that in the last week of May he seems to travelled all the way to Edinburgh to be a guest speaker at the Scottish Edge Awards, an event sponsored by Sir Tom Hunter and the Bank of Scotland.

Considering it’s the Chairman’s primary job to look after shareholder interests does anyone know WTAF Chris Maguire is taking about in terms of the good things he’s heard in relation to Alistair Crane.
Got a link yesimabeliever?

Every time we approach an AGM, Year end result or mid year result I always think surely this is it. Surely now is the time one of those big opportunities is going to be unveiled, the shares are going to re rate to 250+ and a new positive upward chapter will begin. The THG story will be realised.
Only to be disappointed yet again with no good news and a gloss over mediocre news. Then a conf call where MM spins it again only to see the markets 100% forget it all in 48 hour's.

Regrettably it's become somewhat tribal, there are a small number of vociferous posters who are totally for or against THG. Both sides are completely intolerant of opposing viewpoints.
In the final analysis it's a share we are all trying to make money from, it's not a football or rugby team so there's no need to be partisan. MM is a CEO he is not family or a good friend or some Musk/Bezos super star, equally he is not the devil incarnate or anything close, so again I don't understand posters fan boy blind support. I am often critical of his running of THG but I don't hate him or wish him ill. He has done a good job, however I think someone more experienced would deliver much greater shareholder value but I am happy to accept others think otherwise. These are simply my opinions, I am not trying to win an argument or impress or anything else. Here's to a good weekend for one and all
@Hellodolly it is a lot better now Ste and his aliases are banned.
50% of everything on this board was absolute rubbish when they were posting
Have a great weekend LTHs am off to Cheltenham for the weekend. Early start to miss the traffic so I will catch up with you Monday :)
This BB used to be really insightful for me. There were, still are, knowledgeable, rational posters. Recently though, it seems to have descended into chaos, akin to schoolyard silliness
Of course everyone has a right to post whatever opinion they hold and everyone has the opportunity to stop reading or filter. There is the third option of not responding to nonsense. I'm personally reading it less and less due to the amount of back biting and baiting.
Hopefully one day, it will get back on track with the topic in hand, THG. GLA

It's a fact successive chancellors have raided pension funds including the LTA cap. The US, German markets and others have romped away from LSE indexes. IPO's in London has totally collapsed from £billions to almost zero. The London Stock Exchange is a broken model with very poor oversight further complicated by unfriendly tax regime for investors. The figures speak for themselves. THG has little option but to go private, move listing overseas or get taken out by a PE takeover. JMO Adyor!
Unless there is the realisation that algorythmic trading manipulates share prices and a will to do something about it, then every other effort will just be window dressing. If you have say 10 Million shares to sell or buy then lets see it put through as only the 1 trade rather than it being broken down into small 1000 pound trades to move the share price or keep it held whilst accumulating or selling. It is that combined Market access and the closing auctions that create all the smoke and mirrors. Why not also show everyone all the short positions that exist over 0.1% as opposed to 0.5% for the FCA get notified at that lower level and lower the level also for holdings RNS from 3% to the same level. Then transparently you can see who is batting both ways. The rules presently favour too much Hedge Funds and thats why II's are so threadbare on the UK stock market.
You never know what with election change coming and MM having facilitated one of Keir Starmers and his entourages previous stays in one of the Manchester Townhouses he might get the ear of Rachel Reeves for some proper City Reform.
I see another Bid approach out this morning - Bellway having made a conditional offer for Crest Nicholson.
Eventually THG gets another bid or we see change. Maybe assisted by any AGM outcomes. The most recent drop in the share price only serves to further highlight the poor performance and lack of strategic delivery to anywhere near two previous Bids and in a nutshell will probably sway more into the Kelso camp.
They would have made enough money to retire by then
When they all end up jobless and everything has left the City they will then realise the error in their ways but by then it will be too late
I won’t shed a tear for them
The LSE is a busted flush run by a bunch of spivvs..that's why pension funds have diverted 80% of all their investments in other overseas markets, the London IPO market has all but dried up costing London £ billions every year. The exchequer is losing £ billions in tax revenues all because successive chancellors starting with GB in the 90's have raided pension funds. As for the FCA one assumes this is short for the Financial Crooks Association? JMO Adyor!

Well, I'll tell you something. I didn't expect to be touching 65p today, having hit 73.5 yesterday. It's crazy, but very "THG-like."
Either this recovers across the day, or (IMHO) the price drop is due to something being leaked. We've seen it before, time and time again
"What might be equally as telling though Yorek is if there is *large vote* against the Chairman and maybe some others.
24% voted against Iain Mac last year and without any Kelso stated intentions or OMVK either, Cookson also. Ultimately he then left the Board.
What might be equally as telling though Yorek is if there is against the Chairman and maybe some others.
Just as retail investors are getting frustrated so also must Institutional Investors. With markets having recently hit all time highs they also will be looking at the returns on their investments and the opportunity cost of what their money could have earned elsewhere.

I don’t think the market will like it if the Chairman goes. I don’t think he will though, as I think the majority of shareholders, who are prepared to wait a little longer for the tide to turn, will decide. TGL and Matt have both got my vote. GLALTH.
