HMRC Cannot Appeal the GBN case it is closed THG's claim is pending HMRC's scrutiny, so THG will have to show a line by line 4 year's of VAT charges and formulations for all of the affected products tobshow VAT has been charged and the formulations meet that similar to GBN's i.e. negligence carbohydrate, HMRC will take as much time as legally permitted to scrutinise the evidence, however if HMRC deliberately drag their heals THG's lawyers will likely request a judicial review. That will end the matter and THG should get their £78 million rebate with accumulated interest. JAO Adyor!

Re. OSG.... Andy Burnham and his new Chancellor has nothing to do with the VAT rebate, what utter nonsense 🙄. HMRC have a legal duty to resolve such claims and if they fail to meet these requirements for whatever reasons THG can insist on a judicial review that will conclude the matter usually within 30 to 60 days according to AI.
