Thats interesting news, and Mars have their fingers in many many pies from Confectionery, multiple Petfood brands and global vetinary presence. As for the £78 million VAT refund, it would be good but in reality it is a short term boost in cash for THG but it's just a sideshow. Mars has a once in a lifetime chance to get a huge slice of the eye-watering sized US, Japanese, UK and Europe's Protein Market with the No'1 Global online Protein Brand and they could pick up all of THG with loose change like they did with Hotel Chocolat at many multiples of its annual sales. THG's Beauty Division alone is worth multiples of THG's entire Nutrition and Beauty Divisions...Mars could potentially unlock massive value in THG.. for Current Shareholders and themselves!!!! Oh someone didn't like the regulations post regarding ' concert parties' and manipulating THG's share price through Short and Distort etc..!!!!! The unwarranted Drop from 50p to 30p seems to be clear sign of a potential price rigging regime in the background, but we just can't fathom out who's potentially behind it if it is the case? Anyway, the new Short Declaration Rules come into effect on 13th July, but this just lowers the threshold for reporting to 0 2% but now makes all those positions anonymous?
