Surprised at a further fall this morning simply off what Asda's stated intention is.

Probably providing a gift of a share price if you know Asda has lost so much business and that it will take significant money off them and the best part of a year to even start to recoup customer losses, what with the German discounters out there and the likes of Sainsburys and Tesco already price matching them.

Such is the huge debt burden at Asda that it might end up being their complete undoing imvho.

Ceasefire deal is the one everybody is patiently waiting for. Mineral Rights deal there also in the background to be signed and better economic relations with Russia also on the cards for Trump and the US. Now over to DJT and the rapport he has with Putin to weave a deal.

Having given it much thought I am actually of the opinion that this gets delisted and then they might compose a complete take private deal.

Putin continues on the Ukrainian “incursion” in Kursk and asks what a ceasefire would mean.

Would that mean that everybody there would leave? Should we release them after they have committed numerous crimes against civilians there, or will the Ukrainian leadership command them to surrender? What will that will happen? That’s not clear.

He also goes on to talk about broader issues with a ceasefire as he says it could give Ukraine a chance to rearm and regain momentum as a time as Russia is, he claims, advancing.

How will other aspects be dealt with along the 2000 kilometer contact line? As you know, the Russian troops are advancing practically in every sector of the contact line, and all the conditions are there for us to besiege fairly large units.

So what would happen during those 30 days?

Would that allow Ukraine to continue a forced mobilization, a supply of arms to Ukraine, so that the newly mobilized units can be trained, or will that not be done?

He also asks about who would police the ceasefire.

Who will give orders to cease hostilities? And what will these orders be worth, along 2000 kilometers? Who will decide where there’s been a violation of the possible ceasefire agreement along all along the 2000 kilometer line, and who will be blamed? Who will be blamed for violating the ceasefire?

All these issues need to be carefully, painstakingly studied by both sides.

So the idea is good, and we absolutely support it, but there are issues we need to discuss and I think we need to negotiate with our American colleagues and partners, maybe a phone call with President Trump, but the very idea of ending this conflict by peaceful means we support that."

The plans I think are a bit beyond ceasefire and the US imo already have the construct of a Peace Plan.

Trump last night paraphrased.

"Pretty complex situation solved on one side (Ukraine) – pretty much solved. We’ve also discussed land and other things that go with it and not just doing it and saying Ceasefire… we know the areas of land we are talking about and whether it’s pullback or not pullback. We’ve discussed a lot of the details of what has to go because we don’t want to be wasting time. We don’t want to be wasting time while People are dying. As we are sitting here you have probably have 2 people die on that very open field, dead flat, open farmland, the only thing that stops a bullet is a human body and these are bodies that are young people and their stopping a lot of bullets that are flying across those level fields. Dead flat, no protection. It is a disaster, so I hope he (Putin) is going to have a ceasefire.

Given there was 9 hours of talks I'd probably go as far as to say they will have a firm commitment off the Ukranians to a lot more, Elections for instance.

Lets see what becomes of Putins "International call" later today and any brokering during Steve Witkoff's imminent visit. and hopefully the Americans won't have to use any of those levers which Putin knows full well Trump will use.

One of Frasers partnerships and share buy-ins delisting from Aim announced this a.m. Regulatory burden and costs and to maintain structural change the reason.

19p to 6p crash at one point this a.m. Bit of recovery since.

Further to the various claims that arms of the Ukrainian Government has made against Ferrexpo's main operating subsidiary, Ferrexpo Poltava Mining, it looks to us as if the government is trying to up the pressure on Zhevago in relation to claiming back the government support made to his failed bank. The latest salvo is a District Court grant to a request from the Prosecutor's office that a 49.5% stake in FPM be transferred to Ukraine's recovery fund. Coincidentally this is the same stake as Zhevago owns in Ferrexpo, but since Zhevago owns shares in Ferrexpo PLC, which is outside Ukraine's jurisdiction, aiming at Ferrexpo's operating subsidiaries is the best that Kyiv can do. We also wonder if this is a final set of efforts to recoup the monies from Zhevago ahead of potential elections in Ukraine following a peace settlement, as the present government feels it is running out of time to secure recompense for the support rendered to Zhevago's failed bank.

We remain of the view that attacking in this manner a group that has worked steadily to sustain production, support its workforce and local communities through maintaining salaries and via charitable grants is not a particularly 'good look'. Similarly, given that we suspect significant Western support would be needed to assist the reconstruction of urban areas of Ukraine, expropriating a portion of a company in part owned by Western shareholders creates a diplomatic wrinkle that Kyiv could probably also do without right now. At present no transfer request has yet been received by Ferrexpo nor has the court decision been communicated to Ferrexpo, so the company is so far unable to take a view on how such a decision might be appealed. We remain convinced that Ferrexpo will energetically appeal the ruling."
