Not quite. If it costs you 50p to make something and you sell it to consumers for 100p plus vat. Your consumers are buying if for 1.20 and are used to paying 1.20 and you are used to making 50p gross profit. If you don’t have to charge VAT, you can either remove the VAT and make your product cheaper, or keep the price at 1.20p as that’s what your customers are used to and make 70p instead of 50p. It’s massive for the company. I suspect THG will do a bit of both.

no way. 30p is a **** take, even 40p… if you read what osg said yesterday and how much we have spent on companies, even 60p look cheap when vat is confirmed.

I’ve realised they are all liars, grifters and crooks. They will do and say whatever they need to do to get in.

i couldn’t vote greens in a million years. not only does their leader have the gravitas of a broomstick. taxes would be much higher than the already joke of a uk tax system, i’d have tenants refusing to pay any bills because they have a right to live somewhere… (and id have to pay for it) the entire country would be on benefits smoking legalised dope and everyone from everywhere in the world would be welcome to come and live here for free. imagine the eco worrier brigade without a commercial brain cell between them running a company, let alone the united kingdom. the system is completely broken.

unfortunately, it’s a case of voting for who you believe is going to be the least ****e.

Here’s the issue… i don’t have the foggiest idea about any of Nigel F’s policies, I’m not sure he does yet ever. But i’ll be voting for him because I’ve had enough of broken politics with labour and Cons. I feel like most people I know feel the same.

I know someone with 100,000 ingenuity shares and they were told. “There are no buyers” I’m sure anyone on the telegram group on here will concur, as there are plenty of long term holders on there.

One has offered them at 1 pound and still no offers, 4 weeks later.

It’s a bulls!it valuation. I know several people who have been trying to sell their ingenuity and the answer they get from their broker is, there are no buyers. You can value it at 10 pounds per share but if no one is buying you are stuck!

Has MM turned down another deal for someone to buy part of the company or what??? Why are we down so much on no news. Everyone know THG is planning to sell non core stuff

Buy backs are a waste of time with mm in charge. And the normal circumstances I would agree they are good for the firm but for THG and MM all it will do is give him license to hand out more shares to his management team.

Surely the shorts will see this as an open opportunity to close at a very low number.

I don’t know anyone who has been able to sell any of their ingenuity shares. I know plenty who are trying so the valuation right now is just made up to look good. Which pretty much sums up MM and his business ventures.

Been hearing about chunky trades for 5 years.

Sounds good on paper but he will most likely issue another 60 million quid worth to give out to his management team for the good work they have done. I’d rather him pay the debt and bring the costs down. Nothing so far has led me to believe anything this guy does.
