Let me contrast this with… if we get 70 odd million back from HMRC, sell either uk manufacturing, usa manufacturing (Bentley labs) and or one of the beauty brands, pay off the debt, start paying divi. This company will fly!!! We are so undervalued it makes me sick!

If we can do this, the sentiment will change, and people will believe again in mm and will bring in new investors which will push the price back up.

Let me tell you why. There are simply no buyers for the stock apart from us tiny minions of retail buyers. Combine that with short sellers increasing shorts which worry us private retail investors getting us to sell it’s a vicious cycle. Unfortunately for us Matt has done such a terrible job in promoting the company in any meaningful fashion (and the rest of the board for that matter). He has a habit of constantly overcommitting and under delivering and no large investor wants that. I remember last year he openly said they expected the yen was about to strengthen and whey was about to reduce in price. 12 months on the opposite has happened for both, and that’s just one example of 10 I could give you. The city does not trust this guy one bit. He’s been talking about the VAT for nine months which is a meaningful event and I pray this happens as this will prove some people wrong and hopefully start to show people that mm is capable of running this company. My biggest worry is a low ball offer from mm and his team, which is another reason why people wont invest. Trust!!! I’ve been here for 5 years, read almost every story that’s ever come out about THG, every chat board comment, dialled into every call and quote honestly, I don’t trust that Mm wouldn’t do this and I have always been a fan. (Until last year)

Which could be good or very bad for us lot. This is the reason why the market will not touch this company.

But the question is, are they supporting him because they know what the overall plan is and other small shareholders don’t…

It’s a change to the largest loan facility they have and therefore has to be RNS’ed. They’ve added a bit more colour to the RNS which they didn’t need to do, but very positive from my perspective.

Not quite. If it costs you 50p to make something and you sell it to consumers for 100p plus vat. Your consumers are buying if for 1.20 and are used to paying 1.20 and you are used to making 50p gross profit. If you don’t have to charge VAT, you can either remove the VAT and make your product cheaper, or keep the price at 1.20p as that’s what your customers are used to and make 70p instead of 50p. It’s massive for the company. I suspect THG will do a bit of both.

no way. 30p is a **** take, even 40p… if you read what osg said yesterday and how much we have spent on companies, even 60p look cheap when vat is confirmed.

I’ve realised they are all liars, grifters and crooks. They will do and say whatever they need to do to get in.

i couldn’t vote greens in a million years. not only does their leader have the gravitas of a broomstick. taxes would be much higher than the already joke of a uk tax system, i’d have tenants refusing to pay any bills because they have a right to live somewhere… (and id have to pay for it) the entire country would be on benefits smoking legalised dope and everyone from everywhere in the world would be welcome to come and live here for free. imagine the eco worrier brigade without a commercial brain cell between them running a company, let alone the united kingdom. the system is completely broken.

unfortunately, it’s a case of voting for who you believe is going to be the least ****e.

Here’s the issue… i don’t have the foggiest idea about any of Nigel F’s policies, I’m not sure he does yet ever. But i’ll be voting for him because I’ve had enough of broken politics with labour and Cons. I feel like most people I know feel the same.
