The USA listing is just a smokescreen, this is going private. Matt’s reteric on LinkedIn is the LSE is unbearable, unworkable and unsustainable. “The only option we had was to take it back off the markets and back into private hands…” THG will go public in the US and most likely all three divisions separately. Just not with us involved I’m afraid.

Of course. Matt’s not going anywhere and as he said, they wanted a controlling vote over 2 of the divisions , which they would not agree to. However you skin it, it’s an MBO.

Just my opinion. No facts. Everyone is talking about a USA listing for MP. But how do you list a single division in the us when that division is paying for everything else here in the Uk. It’s feels too complicated. An MBO on the other hand, just find someone willing to buy the free float. I can see Matt staying on this listing for too much longer. It’s his money too that is being lost. They will split and list separately no doubt. But likely not with us in tow. Cheerio All

I know, but that’s my point? Who’s going to invest in a us listing for MP, if the profits for MP can be used to pay into a group business based in the Uk funding a huge tech dev programme which won’t be cost neutral until 2028. Surely all 3 have to be split and Ingenuity becomes a Ocado type business which investors will buy separately into.

Which is why it needs to be separated from the group. My protein is currently paying for a very expensive ingenuity business.

I understand the king king was hidden at ICON for a few months, as they were going through rounds of redundancies at the time when it landed.

Cutting headcount is the perfect way to improve bottom line, buying a 3m tall King Kong for 200k, probably isn't. Has anyone asked THG IR if we bought it? Or if it’s loaned or purchased by Matt personally?

If someone sitting at home behind a keyboard has heard a rumour that has any legs at all, others would have also heard the rumour and the share price would have gone up and we certainly wouldn’t be 6 percent down in the last 5 days.

He’s a long term investor who adds some great insight on the telegram group. Like all of us, he’s rather annoyed by his long term holding in THG. Hopefully people will take note. If only THG communicated.
