I feel 22p will be breached today.
Well addicknt we can choose to listen to who we want to but the constant negative background noise from Quady - noise which now contradicts EVERYTHING we have heard from the company since the merger - just wears people down whether they accept it or not. I made a decision to stop posting here until major news landed, but reading this board was a depressing experience. After the WI interview (in which I think he was very bold to the point of utter recklessness) I bet the whole farm on SOLG and had a few sleepless nights I can tell you... it's hard enough living with that sort of gamble without reading endless nonsense about strategic reviews, "advancing Cascabel", developing mines and JVs - ALL of which are misinformation points since the merger and are financially disastrous options put forward by only those who want to deramp this share and who seem terrified of the thought of a buyout. Why is that? Talk about suffering fools gladly - so many of you have let this idiot with his constant drip drip drip of nonsense make your lives on here miserable. Every single one of you on here were totally disgusted and finished with SOLG at the start of March, I couldn't find a single positive comment on here - and all partly thanks to Quady who had worn you all down. So 13p looked like the end of the line instead of the start of a golden opportunity. That's how toxic these boards can be thanks to people like Quady. I'm topslicing and getting out bit by bit and hoping for the final big payout, but this will be my last share, I'm done with the stockmarket finally - I've got the big payout I always dreamed about but my one regret is I ever got involved with these boards in the first place.
Yes there are a few on here I feel I could go for a pint with. But a few as well I wish I wasn't on the same planet with. Besides that, there is a real world of real people out there, and concentrating on that rather than social media in 2023 has been a great change for me. I'm just glad that the few I always did care about on here with be sharing in a payout with me soon. The road has been long and exhausting, but the end is near.

Time to offload this beast to someone with deep pockets and influence in International affairs.
Optimistic the wheels are turning as I write and this will be bought up this coming year.
21.8 print
Bid up to 21.50
It must have leaked that we’re going to production!!
Summit, all Tier1 mines 'get off the ground' for the simple reason that there are billions and billions of dollars involved. Chinese have huge sway in Ecuador and as you should know (being a SOLG shareholder) they are about to sign a historic free trade deal. SOLG's 'project' or projects (and the folio has many) will be sold off so project 'lift off' will be for the Chinese or some Super major miner to deal with.

MassiveRay,
Don't think you will have long to wait to see 30p ...... Give it a few months
No fatigue here, I haven't been on this diabolical never ending journey, just here to enjoy the fruits on the way back up.
30p 33p fair value for this Tier 1 asset?
Interesting .....Fatique has set in with some LTH here. I would have thought 50p would be fair value.
Perhaps I'm unrealistic.
That’s very unfair Sean, Quady has been consistent in his views & declared himself to be a Lth. I’ve never seen him decamp or cajole others into selling. These BB’s exist for an exchange of ideas/views but decisions to buy/sell etc rest entirely with the individual. I sold at about 13p the other week & recognise (in hindsight) that was a mistake but it was entirely my mistake. Good luck to everyone here for a prosperous outcome.
sean, I think that's a bit harsh on Q. I don't feel he's 'de-ramped' at all - he simply believes that production would provide better value in the long term and, being purely theoretical, it's possible he's right. The problem is in the real world production is simply not deliverable, so it's all a bit of a non-discussion.
Nor do I believe for one moment that his posts have persuaded anyone to sell-up, and if they did those investors must be incredibly dim.
Q may be many things and I most certainly wouldn't want to go for a beer with him (I suspect the feeling's mutual), but he isn't a negative influence on here - there are plenty of other people I could think of who fit that bill far more accurately.
I always think its funny when Quady considers himself qualified to judge other people's intelligence.
Anything above 30p and I'm selling the lot.
Fingers crossed its soon.
The LSE chart is not showing the high for the day with 140k bought at 21.25...
I don't see this rise running out of steam until we are back at a decent 25p level, which historically we tended to rest at.
After that, I see a £1.2Billion offer, 33p a share. That might seem a lot lower than many were expecting years ago, but we have 3,000,000,0000 shares in issue now.
Definitely something very good coming down the line now, and it ain't a strategic review, a mine or a JV, that's for sure.
Quady look at it this way -
If I had listened to you - that there was going to be an endless strategic review and the company was then going to bankrupt itself trying to build a mine - I would have given up and sold out at 13p.
Instead I listened to WI and threw everything I had in here the following Monday morning.
It's clear to everyone now that your predictions are never coming true and we are heading towards a sale of some sort.
The rise im price seems to be killing you - perhaps *you* sold out down at 13p hoping that you could get back in at 7p or lower? Anyway I was never convinced you ever held any SOLG shares - you come across as an out and out atettntion seeking troll.
It's just a shame that your constant deramping and doom mongering about building a mine wore so many people down over time - it's clear that some LTHs gave up the ghost, especially when we were suffering the after effects of that 16.4p placing.
By the time you were done on here no one had a good word to say about this company. Shame on you.
Fort...not rose tinted. By the way this project won't get off the ground if the politics get in the way...I hold solg and ggp...
"it is clear the results have been outstanding and they continue to expand the resource." END.
Summit, I think you've been brainwashed by the rose tinted glasses on the GGP BB for too long.
If the results were outstanding you'd be back to double digits by now. Instead, the share price is 7's and 8's.
In your defence, what I will say is that the market of today is not too fussed about exploration results (unlike the old days). In a bearish defence, I'd say POG punching out close to multi year highs is seeing significant interest in some miners (producing and non producing) but GGP with that £400m hefty market cap seems to be absorbing all the good news into the 7's and 8p ranges doesn't it??
All best with it. FWIIW, I think there's upside to around 12p/13p levels but not much more than that especially with Wyloo's 9p dilution play around the horizon.
Small things amuse small minds!
Psml at that one seanhunter,Quady is happy with the continued share rise like us all ATM , stupidly low price imho
Think that is not an accurate statement re ggp...it is clear the results have been outstanding and they continue to expand the resource...its probably tier 1 just not yet quantified because it remains open
Good grief Seanhunter if you are trying to compete with Slug for most unintelligent poster.
That last post helped you on your way.
Why would a rising share price upset me or anyone else.
Don't tell me you're still waiting for the Strategic Review?
Oh dear.
Time we put you in the Horlicks I think.
Poor old Quady, a lifetimes work proved wrong.
I think you should be switching boards and joining lowtrawler over there. This rise is killing you isn't it?
