RE: Will PMO Struggle to get $500m placing away because of crashing markets?27 Feb 2020 11:19
Nickel. Don't think the placing and ri are likely to be in 1st qtr.Scheme will not be completed until 17/3 and the original rns stated that the whole series of transactions was not due to be completed until 3rd qtr. My bet would be after theAGM.
Interesting TarthD. Looks like they are capable of making huge fines - certainly large enough to hurt our shorter. A big issue will be how speedy their actions are. It would be great (but probably unlikely) if their decision was made public before PMO's final Court hearing to approve the scheme of arrangement.
RE: PMO Scottish court case kicks off tomorrow for the refinancing plans15 Jan 2020 10:22
How is it that the court case is going to start before the creditor's meeting? I thought the court had to ratify the scheme of arrangement after it had been approved by creditors and shareholders meetings.
As part of yesterday's announcement it was stated that the BP acquisitions would be backdated to 1/1/19. Presumably this means that their results for the year just ended will be incorporated into the accounts due to be published on 5/3/20. However the purchase is not due to be completed until late March at the earliest. Surely they cannot incorporate them until the deal is completed. Thoughts please?
Hi NSTA and jaffa Are you saying that there a call option or equivalent that cancels out the short? If so does this mean that ARCM do not have to buy back the shares they have shorted on the open market?
