One thing's for sure, if they haven't delivered some real shareholder value between now and them seeking approval I won't vote in favour of anything which gives them more options/remuneration etc.
Why they need to send smoke signals?
DM, because they are designed to give him a good return in the short term and are instead of an exit related bonus. At least that's my theory.
The clue is in the exercise price. If these were genuine long term options the price would have been set at a far more ambitious target.
What was that famous line, "You turn if you want to, the Quady's not for turning!
Yeah, right..
Yes redknight
They would vest earlier in “a Change of Control Transaction, as defined under the Company's ESOP Rules.”
Come on guys...can't you see the subtle undertone...?
They don't VEST until April 2024, 2025 and 2026...
But of course they will automatically vest if there is a takeover...
This is a blatant giveaway as if we are still independene in April 2024 we'll be building Alpala...and that ainy going to happen...
Over to you Quady!
A total lack of ambition or expectation in those future options prices….
Previous future facing staff options at circa 45p seem a long distant memory now.
Looks like our CFO has been granted options over ten years.
We are going to fund Cascabel.
I cannot think of any other reason.
You would not grant so many options if we were going to sell or part sell the company.
Cash burn rate/cash balance will be interesting..
But with regard to what basic operational tasks Solg staff claim to be doing, I assume them to be be so vague and insignificant they dont require any updates… just enough for management to be able to claim some activity is actually taking place, and to justify still being employed..
I don’t expect any further explanation or clarity on position and strategy.. not until the results of the strategic review… which I fully expect to be pushed back to q3/4… but hopefully I will be wrong.
But there is the rub here… I am actually interested in what the content of this MDA could be, considering our current position… will it actually contain any clarity… or will it be fluff and filler due to no progress or plans..
Orthencopper let's hope they say they sold cascabel or the whole lot in Ecuador ,how much do DGR have now?
MDA due in circa 3 weeks….
There is sod all they can discuss and analyse with all operations shut down… Wondering what it can possibly say
BHP & Rio getting mauled today
OK thanks WoodyB, I'd forgotten about those other careers.
Jezzoo get it right mate, Quady was also an international chess player and trainee actuary.
Gino. Hit the nail on the head mate. Spot on. I think we all know who they are.
Quady. Ref your 0848 post. And that has what to do with me.
Good grief you also studied politics as well as being a Master Plumber, Statistician, Electrician,
What part of politics did you study then Quady ?
The art of spin ?
I used the dictionary C&P to show a fact Quady something you have difficulty in grasping. You even think you know better than the Britannica Dictionary, and spinning fascism into ra cism, inspired politics !
You only come on here now to disrupt now your "going to production" dream has been shattered.
Look up Narcissist, "https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/narcissistic-personality-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20366662 or simply look in the mirror.
Mrprt, not long to go until SOLG releases news on the strategic review which, according to Quady, will be about the "finer points of mine design". I look forward to Mr Caldwell discussing this at length following his comments at a recent conference where he stated that SOLG are not mine builders, in what is shaping up to be the volte-face of the year in the mining sector.
In all seriousness, looking forward to the next leg up here and another crack at 22p next week. I'm sure there are plenty of traders skimming this for 10% as we continue to rise and consolidate.
Oh dear Jezzoo in order for you to understand what fascism is, you reach for a dictionary.
I have studied politics and been involved at various levels.
Fascism is a movement and philosophy.
It's very nature is rac.ist as it put the nation state above everything. Including people's rights and promotes it's own race of people above all others.
Try reading up on the subject.
However I agree with Mrprt enough of this.
All the copper shortage in the world is meaningless to Solgold without the Exploitation agreement for Cascabel. I hope that's still coming along but maybe Lasso's government has other things to worry about right now.
Do you know the dictionary definition of Fascism Quady ?
Quote
" fascism /'fæ???z?m/ noun
Britannica Dictionary definition of FASCISM
[noncount]
1
or Fascism : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government."
Ring any bells ?
So......A fascist in denial of their socialist tendencies ?
As far as the big solg sale is concerned, I'm beginning to think any prospective purchaser will wait it out until we are on the cusp of having to renew the licences and risk losing them and , err, everything really.
Jezzoo, you don't know what you are talking about.
I am slightly right of centre.
I have never been a socialist.
I just don't like bullies.
Also what are you on about l never answered your question.
Everyone else got it.
I was joking, as it was about people on this board who are extreme saying they were leaving the country when Solgold paid out.
I just wished them on their way.
Change the record Quady, your repetitive posts reveal more about your state of mind than the minds of others.
Your virtue signalling isn't covering up your fascist tendencies, you know, the ones that you most detest about yourself.
And don't bother posting the same old guff about me defending Slug etc, I've heard it all before, he isn't as far right as you are far left. I think think the term is loonie left, you know the type, the ones that would cut off their noses to spite their faces. You didn't reply to my question about why you think Solg will be sold quickly yet either.
As many here have noticed, some posters appear to have preferred status in that they seem able to have whole streams deleted whilst enjoying free reign to post whatever rubbish/offence they wish, yet the moderators ignore any protests condemning this. It isn't only this BB, but one can see it happening on other LSE BBs.
LSE currently have a 'performance survey' available, accessible within Members Tools (repetition?) which, whilst mainly tickboxes, provides opportunity near the end to comment on any matters which need attention by LSE to improve their BBs. Can't say if it will work but one hopes that any comments will be read and not deleted because they upset teacher's pet.
