The longer the interview goes, the more he shows his frustration with not being able to sell any Canadian discoveries to the Chinese.
Yes.. If the Chinese do want to buy it… and a delisting etc would all add time to any deal being struck.
If WI's comment is accurate, that means we would need to delist from TSX before being able to sell to the Chinese.
I imagine I'm not alone in having emailed the company in the past few weeks and failing to get a reply.
It seems to me that since the departure of Fawzi they've decided not to bother any more.
2.30 onwards very interesting
If some folk are fed up why not find something more exciting to do with their time, rather than sitting here round the clock day in day out! Watching this board won't speed anything up whatsoever!
Veg garden time, and that lovely fresh air!

NAL, I understand your situation and I imagine all of us have been there at some stage in our investment career. However, there's always a point when one comes to believe that something's such a basket case you may as well sell and preserve at least some of your capital. It seems to me you've reached that point.
From a purely objective position your logical course of action would be to sell and mark it down as a bad experience. There appears to be no rational explanation as to why you'd continue to hold.
By the way, although you may believe you're doing us a favour by "calling-out" the more enthusiastic posters on here, we are all seasoned enough to draw our own conclusions and it could be argued that you've become somewhat obsessional in your determination. I suspect a shrink would advise you to move on.
At the upcoming coronation of useless royalty. Further condolences at having to spend millions trying to dress and make presentable the old cow.
Good second discovery for Solaris at Warintza.

Evening all. Bozi, there is a good website called CuencaHighLife which has good articles. The latest reports that the president of the commision for impeachment will present the report friday or saturday, but he believes it shows no strong evidence for impeachment. IMO it is Correists in collusion with the indigeonous parties seeking to disrupt and destabalise(quite common in Ecuadorian politics). I am a Lasso supporter so forgive my bias, but lets hope the report clears Lasso of accusations, he continues as president and even gets reelected! The only thing I can safely say after having experienced the politics and the legal system here for 20 years, ANYTHING is possible!

Adickt, ref your post. I still hold shares because of greed. I bought in the glory days, and watched the price rise to appx 50p. I thought mather could do no wrong.believed him with his multi exit for shareholders. Then watched solg turn into a sh*t show. Didn't have the sense to follow the smart money, and get out in the mid 30p range. Because I still hoped it would come good. WRONG.
I then did something I've told myself not to for many years. Join this board. Then got absolutely gobsmacked by the daily good news tomorrow and mather can do no wrong. Decided against my better judgement to, tried to engage, and explain that possible pitfalls lay ahead. I was met with a torrent of abuse, and told I was paid by God knows who, to bring the price down, also to increase posts for lse, that decided me to then prove they're point. Bloody mindless, always been my downfall.
But no worries, fortissimo post telling us he had a contact in equador, and 5 people ticking it, was my swansong.
Quady you really have no idea at all. You write with such confidence yet what you are saying is fundamentally wrong. As soon as the FTA agreement is ratified it is implemented - again yes some elements are gradual such as they may gradually reduce tariffs on certain goods or services to protect domestic markets.
A FTA does not remove all tariffs because that would be stupid - especially taking into account WTO rules on most favoured nation. The FTA will set out the rules of the agreement and which tariff and other barriers to trade are to be removed.
Once the FTA is enacted then to open up any aspect is to open it all.
Do not mistake a FTA (Free Trade Agreement) with a Free Trade Area/ Customs Union which are completely different things.
Pbow a FTA takes ages to fully implement.
It's not just about trade, it's about access to each others countries and on what terms.
It covers political institutions and cooperate takeovers,
It also excludes sectors deemed necessary to Defense and national interest.
Tariffs are a small but important part.
There is a lot more to a FTA.
And of course , he may have been referring to Bubble for all we know , which wouldn't be very nice either. Just a nasty piece of work , part of the club here though.
FTA are not bare bones when they are signed. That is why they often take years to negotiate. This one between China and Ecuador took 10 months which is amazingly quick. It removes tariffs on 99% of current Ecuadorian exports to China. If you think that is bare bones then you are nuts. Once a FTA is signed it is very much the finished article as to open one part is to open all.

Even so , not nice language. It thought he was having a go at needalife , but Quady doesn't deserve it either. It just a bullish*t board and another day of our lives gone. No need to be so rude.
